@Diya:

Yes, I have watched the films a couple of times with my sister. They are good especially Catching Fire. I think you should give it a try. 😃

@Anam:

I agree. I haven't seen a glowing review for the sequel either. If I don't get my hands on the audiobook, I won't read it. Can't devote my physical reading time to a book that has potential to disappoint me. 🤔

I would like to get to Misery and some of his other works next year.

One of us is lying will be the first one I read as soon as I am in a mood for YA mysteries. 😃

Shreya and Diya, I’m going to make both of you pick a book when I decide on Fantasy for a particular month. I’m absolutely clueless when it comes to Fantasy reads and the way you’ll passionately discuss them, it’s only fitting that both of you choose a book.

Oh sure. Nothing epic in scale. Diya and I can give you a list when it's time and you can choose one which sounds the most interesting. 😃

I loved it so much. It’s a book I’ll definitely go back and read at least once more. Thanks for bringing it back to my notice.

I’m going to see if I can find the graphic novel version of the book online. I would like to read it in that format. If anyone can find a link to the graphic novel of A Monster Calls, please share it here and I’ll do the same if I find a link.

Those who haven’t read it, please do. It will take a maximum of 2 hours to read this book.

I am so happy that you loved it. You made my day, Anam! 🤗

I feel the same too. Going back to the book after you know the ending truly feels like a new experience. His anguish and 'shame' breaks your heart even more!

Not yet. I haven't even finished The Shining.

I haven't read a lot of fantasy novels but I've loved the few I've read in the fantasy/mythological fiction genre. I keep coming across titles that I'd love to read. I'm sure we can find a few interesting sounding ones.

im reading both the shining and anxious people🤣

btw whats the difference between new adult and YA? I never understood this, the only difference I see is that new adult ones are usually more graphical😆
