Oh yeah I am in complete agreement with you. I only suggested YT because you know these people refuse to do anything other than acting. They can even go behind the scenes of productions or take up another job in the media industry so they can still be close to the showbiz industry. If these don't work out then always have a backup option which like you said is a non-showbiz related job. When people are in dire financial circumstances they will do any job they can find even if it is retail or flipping burgers until they find something better. Not to forget these people actually have a network which may be helpful in gaining regular employment elsewhere.

Skills can be upgraded at any age but yeah the earlier the better. My mom spent a year studying to gain a certification in her early 50s, same with my dad recently. I went back to school for the hell of it and because of studying, I could only do a part-time job that would be considered "not up to my standard" but work is work so I do it since atm it's my only option until I can go back to full-time work once school is done.

Yup, they think they can emulate that same success again. I want to know what these actors do when they aren't doing a show? Are they seriously just chilling at home and crying about the good ole days? Are they even trying to learn new things at least? I have always wondered what they do for the two years or more they don't have a show. It's fortunate that OTT platforms are a thing now and if the ITV soap format changes then so many more actors could be employed. I feel bad for unemployed actors but have they even tried and exhausted all their options? Smh.

Kudos to you and your family who are still learning, the thing is in the real world no matter what your job profile is you gotta keep learning and achieving certificates to further enhance your career or as simple as survive being employed. A smart cookie should know they are pretty much done and dusted after 2-3 shows. Back up planning is a must. And I agree with the advent of yt n ig influencer every other day, things are so easy for these.

Jasmine does it so much! The worst was the farm task. She was perfectly fine with Eijaz after it; they were shown having a nice discussion so it was like nothing is amiss then all of a sudden in WKV she made him out to be some kind of pervert with predatory tendencies. Hain? Same with Rahul. If I were in their place, I would have doubted myself that omg did I do something wrong?

SP, Im going to take your advice and go to the path you chose yesterday. Its not worth for me to argue against hardcore fangirls when they fail to understand opposing views. Sticking to mainly DDT and AT type of threads from now on. Need a break myself lol.

She’s so shitty man - I couldn’t believe what I was watching and hearing that first WKW - and then again with Rahul. The overt chillam chill and gaali galoch annoys me as much the next person, but dude - opportunists like Jasmine? Pretending to be good with people and then taking the first chance to distort their image, lay false allegations, and basically - hit em where it hurts under the guise of compassion or apologies. It’s disgusting.
