Keeping aside the politics can we not assume a woman is lying just cos she has joined certain political party or has certain political views ?! It is hard for a woman to come forward and talk about rape , her trauma specially in a society where victim blaming is so common .. and anyways what happened to always believe the victims , always believe the woman ?!

and if she’s lying is there any proof ? Did Anurag provide enough proof ?!

Yes he has. She's proven to be a liar. Her FIR states Kashyap raped her in Aug 2013, Kashyap has submitted proof where he was out of the country from July-Sep 2013, was shooting a documentry in Sri-Lanka. She also mentioned Richa Chaddha who sued her and she apologized.

This was a fabricated lie and Kashyap will counter sue her.

oh really, when did this happen?? So its not like she missed by a few days.....she missed by a few months...which traumatized woman would not remember atleast the month....it was evident that she was lying...first I thought that it was because of her Guru ji Kangna didi.....but yahan toh mamla kuchh aur hain....so ye saari politics join karne ki tayyari thee...the party people must have said...ki le lenge tumhe party mein....pehle ye Kashyap bahut bol raha hai...isko chupp karao...

And please ...if anyone tries to convince me that her joining the party and her accusing Kashyap and ranting all over the twitter has no connection.....I will be LMAO at your innocence....joining a political party is not getting aloo tamataer from sabji mandi...ki gaye aur khareed laaye...it takes months if not years of planning to do that...maybe the party tested her ki kitna jhooth bol sakti hai...and then gave her the ticket...politics is a dirty world...much much more than BW can ever be....but anyways...shame on her...she made it a tad bit more difficult for the genuine victims...

OMG!!! Shame on her. It’s because girls like her who falsely accuse of rape , the real victims has to suffer.

At least the initial views were in support of Payal and asking for Anurag to prove himself innocent. The proof was the lack of follow up with facts and merely social media hype and photo ops with governor, NCW chairman who immediately responded to her request. Anurag followed up with providing proof, defamation suit of the place and time he was during her claim.

If anything, her actions have made genuine victims harder to come forward and talk about rape because people can’t tell the difference of genuine vs publicity stunt.

Believing the victim should be the way, but there's such a thing as circumstantial evidence.

And no victim will join a party after rumours are rife she's doing this just to get a ticket. Just look at the timeline of her actions, it is self-explanatory.

I was wondering where you got your expertise in trauma psychiatry from ? How do you know what victims of trauma feel like ? And how can you generalize? By the way she has been appointed in a women centric position in the party to be vocal.

What circumstantial evidence is there besides ppl’s psychiatry diagnosis of her?

Secondly, her actions were shady from the start. Even her posts on Twitter were screaming for attention rather than the suncere recollection of a genuine victim.

Third, her story was full of loopholes. She couldn't even remember the YEAR for God's sake.

She joined the party right in the middle of investigations, when she was already accused of being a party stooge. Now, basic common sense says no genuine victim who wants justice, will do that.

But it's futile to explain to you, when your visceral hatred of common sense and hard facts is known to all.

When was I deciding what is was like? I was asking you how you got the expertise to judge what a trauma victim (or generally all trauma victims) are like?

What about her tweets screamed for attention? You can make vague general assertions about just about anything. This person's accusation seemed authentic. when that person's claimed lacked evidence because they could not describe the office where it happened accurately is much more legitimate. What were the loopholes? People confuse dates that does not prove her claim false. So should women let faulty accusations dictate there life? Should a victim asking for justice be extra cautious about all the accusations people will make at her? That is why it took so many #metoo victims so much time to come out because people were afraid others would accuse them of publicity. The point was so that they could speak without being judged??? I am not going to address you last line. It is not worth it. But you need more facts to prove a point and less empty assertions. Those don't prove a thing.

I completely disagree with making grown adults apologize. Who has the self-respect to even accept a forced apology ? They should know it is not genuine. Also Payal didn’t say Richa sleeps with Kashyab . She said that is what he told her when he was trying to convince her to sleep with him. For all she knows he could have been lying to get her to sleep with him. The was no ill-intent provable there. God knows what type of court could say there was malice and then would force adults to apologize???

His lawyer providing a defense does not prove something .
