Well PR had a similar track (not same) Both parents were separated due to misunderstanding. Mother adopted a child (Purvi) while father was staying with twin (ovi -teju ) daughters. Daughters hated the mother. Anyway one daughter liked Arjun( friend's son) Arjun didn't like her but agreed to get engaged to her. Engagement never happened.

Fell in love with Purvi.

Now both sisters liked same guy while Arjun was in love with Purvi only. Purvi due to the fact that she was adopted, always felt indebted to her mother and wished her mother reunite with family. Biological daughter with obsession asked her to sacrifice her love for mother to be accepted in the family. Purvi emotionally blackmailed Arjun to marry Ovi. Although he could never love Ovi.

Only difference was in PR, the girl who sacrificed was the adopted daughter hence out of a feeling of guilt and indebtedness she went ahead. Also parents were separated and had lot of misunderstanding which Abhigya do not in this case.

Plus Prachi is not adopted but actually biological daughter toh thoda difference hona chahiye😎

He on the other hand is in a stage of deep intense love. He has said it out loud, has shared his feelings and is in the stage for deep commitment and companionship.

While I would love for Prachi to feel the same, I think the fact that Ranbir is the one with the initiative makes the relationship more enduring. It is usually the fl in serials always fighting for love but here the ml is the trusting caring one which makes Pranbir so adorable❤️
