Chapter 1
"stop over there. Don't you dare step a inch a ahead" shouted a good looking,absolutely stunning man. His eyes conveying the power he possessed. With him there was a beautiful young girl of 20s who had already fainted having caught the extremely unpleasant sight of the angry crowd who wanted the girl to perform the custom of Sati which dewelled in the late 19th century. He tried to fight against the whole crowd for the sake of humanity...wait no this is getting not as anyone's thought!....He wanted to save the girl not only as a good human a potential barrister but also as a friend! Yes Anirudh Roy Chaudhary is a man of his words. His courage is as strong as a stone and his heart is as soft as a petal of a flower. People loved him and his thoughts about the changes he wished to see in his country but the same people bad mouthed him for his trials for the same. of course it is difficult for a person to change his/her traditions and customs which he/she has been following since decades but Anirudh had no chances of giving up.
"Vilayati babu yeh gussa aur yeh krantikaati baatein sunne me achi lagti hai karne me nahi"shouted one man among the huge crowd.
"Bhale hi tum vilayat se aye hoge par yahan wahi chalta hai jo samaj ka faisla ho"
"Haan iss ladki ko bhi Sati pratha ke anusaar marna hoga"
Anirudh, at first was irked by their thoughts. He was totally a no nonsense man. He surely had a answer to all of their questions. He replied them back "Agar yeh vilayat hota toh aisa kabhi hua hi nahi hota. Aap ek aurat hokar bhi dusri aurat ki bhavnao ka samman nahi kar sakti sharam aani chahiye apko. Kal ko agar apki beti hoti toh bhi kya aap yahi kehti?"
All of them got silenced. It is said that no one can shake the power of truth. Truth is truth. But the people were still not ready to spare the innocent girl. Anirudh could feel her pain as he hugged her with one hand. He could barely see her face but he knew that this time protecting her was more important than questioning about her whereabouts.
"Kya lagte ho tum iske jo isse bacha rahe ho?"asked a man.
And what? Romance without the spark of filmyness doesn't sound well!!😂😉 Anirudh got enraged. Even after his hundred of trials he just got a fountain of questions except the rain of harmony. He took his finger which was bleeding as he had injured himself badly while protecting her from the shower of sticks. He placed it on her forehead thus announcing her as his wife. All of them couldn't say anything to this behaviour but just went away silently. Anirudh rushed the girl to his house.
In Roy Chaudhary's Mansion,
Kaka Babu shouted over Anirudh "arey yeh kis ladki ko utha laye ho? Hadh hi hogai aaj toh. yahan hum khushi se tumhari aur saudamini ki shaadi ki taiyaarian kar rahe the aur tum na jane kahan se isse utha laye ho". Anirudh tried to make him speak low. He explained "kaka main janta hun par kya hum kahin aur chalkar baat kar sakte hai? Isse Abhi hosh nahi aya hai aur main nahi chahta iski tabiyat aur kharab hojaye..." Kaka babu got more furious about the stranger being the Bahu of the Roy Chaudhary's. He said sternly "arey hum kyun kahin aur jaakar baat kare? woh bhi iss....iss ladki ke liye jise tum na jane kahan se utha laye ho".
At this point the girl opened her eyes. Her eyes were deep and brown. She was extremely beautiful. She tried to wake up. She found herself in a totally alien place to her. She got stunned and stood up asap. Anirudh was speechless about her beauty. He softly said her "Aap aram kariye darne ki koi zarurat nahi hai waise aap....."
"Bondita...Bondita naam hai mera. Main janti hun apne kya kiya..."
Anirudh was surprised. Wasn't she unconscious at the time? How does she knows everything?
"woh mere kaan bade tez hai...aisa maa kehti hai. toh maine Sun liya tha sab. Aap chinta mat kariye main chali jaungi.."
"arey aise kaise chali jaogi bahu? Mera matlab hai tum...tum..nahi bahu ho tum ab iss ghar ki aise kaise jane de sakte hai hum?"said Trilochan Kaka
Anirudh agreed to Kaka's words. He felt a strange connection with her. With a heavy heart he moved out of the room.

"kaka sasur ji pati babu ko kuch yaad nahi aya..."said Bondita with great worry.
Trilochan kaka was also surprised "pata nahi bahu par uss raat aisa kuch hi hua tha na? Phir bhi na jane kyun Anirudh is yadash wapas nahi aayi...Hume chinta hone lagi hai uski ab toh..."
"kismat par kisika bas nahi hota. agar mujhe pata hota ke pati babu se aisi mulaqat hogi ...isse acha toh pati babu ko main yaad thi aur patra se baat bhi kar sakti thi.."
