Why did Jay defend Noor?

Hi! Jay behaved like a gentleman and defended Noor on her wedding day. But that kind of behaviour is not expected from him. He is actually a dangerous and greedy serpent. Evil serpents like him do not care about women's honour. Then why did he defend her? What do you think? Did he do that because he wanted to show himself as a nice guy in front of his family members and Bani?

No I don't think jay was a villain until his memories came back at the mandir... He was this confused but nice gentleman who hasn't got a clue what's going on with his constant headaches and asthma attack... He loved bani until he knew that he was inferior to her... N that knowledge also made him villain, I think out of sheer jealousy..

But maybe as you said in my post, hriday might have been a real villain n May be Jay also remembered about whatever evil he did in satya yug n thus automatically became the villain

I think it was less about defending Noor and more about putting Veer down since both Singhanias and Mathurs cannot see eye to eye. Noor bahana tha, asliyat to apne aapko Veer ke saamne superior dikhana tha. But we know that who is what, right. Noor ko defend karna just was a collateral bonus, man ka jhaal bhi mita liya aur Noor ki izzat bhi rakh li. I guess this could be a reason.

Well, there's something called as, 'Ignorance is bliss'. That's exactly what happened in case of jay mathur I feel! At the time of noor's death, jay was just jay! A Simple, sweet boy! He had no memories of the past! So, though the soul was of hriday, his present positive persona overpowered the demons in his soul! So, the gentleman jay, stood for what's right all the time till that time!

He remembered his past life later, if am not wrong! In that mandir! Once the memories came back, all hell broke loose! He was no more jay, he became hriday! Hriday who felt inferior to his female counterpart; who was jealous of her, for being more powerful! His powers made him go all rogue! So, In a way he was blissful when the memories were not back, at least he was on the right track!😆

So, what he did at noor's house seemed genuine to me! As people change, even he changed! just extremely drastically, you see!😆

The same happened with bani as well actually. She was less complex when she had no memory of the past! I hope veer remains unscathed!🤔

Yes, Jay changed drastically. 😆 But I thought he pretended to be a gentleman in front of Bani and his family members on that day. By the way, Sukhada, there is a roleplay game named, "Daastan-e-Aakeshwari" in this forum. I am playing the role of Aakesh and Shakura there. 😆😆 You can join that game. All the characters are taken except for Daksh. You can play the role of Daksh if you want. 😊

I don’t think Jay was evil before getting his memories back, till then his feelings for Bani were genuine, however being a guy it is his ego that turned him against her, because as a normal human if you look, he comes from a pretty affluent family which sort of puts him above Bani but as AdiNaag, Bani is superior to him and that’s what probably did not like that is being second to a woman.
