As long as he doesn’t let her tread over him and also gives it bak to her, sut samet like today , it is entertaining and quiet satisfying!

Thats what makes her character so one dimensional Atleast think of him as a normal humanbeing with feelings. Abhi bhi mere haalat aise they, maine koshish ki, to pehli koshish Shravan ne ki thi. Abhi bhi ek baar puchha tum pe kya biti Shravan? Or anything about his family?

Oh and I was amused at her padosi wala haq jatana aaj🤣 behan ko haq jatana hai phir woh dr wala ho ya padosi wala she finds the most random reasons to jatao that saaf saaf bol na regardless you are mine na rather than accessing baselessly and agar woh karna hai toh phir haq jatan chod do. Stop being this annoying unbearable woman

Watched Gulaal till Vasants death and its aftermath😭😭 My heart broke watching it:( Its so rare to see a show, where characters are so layered and not one dimensional. Most of them react according to a situation and have different shades. Definitely some are way more greyer but still you can see where they are coming from. Dushyant actually killed Vasant? I want to see how they turn around this character. Sudha I can still say has a lot of scope but Dushyant, I can’t fathom.

Niti Taylor is so raw in this😆 Does Reva marry that Kamlesh? 🤢

Kesar- Gulaal scenes have so much foreshadowing. You know how Kesar went from being a bit possessive of her to a point of absolute trust in her. The way Gulaal handled Kesar in regards to his studies😆, help him get rid of fear of darkness and just be there for him no matter what makes you understand the impact she has made in his life.

As for Gulaal, I feel her sole purpose is going to be fulfilling promises she made to Vasant:(

There is this line that Motabha says about Gigabha, which applies to our Sumo too😆( ofcourse in Gulaal they had a basis for it and EKDV doesn’t have it)

Kuchh insaan apni zindagi mein chot khate hai, aur kuchh insaan us chot ko hi apni zindagi bana dete hai!

Shravan is seedhi baat , no bakwaas and Sumo just goes around the point and talks in circles and then she flips😆 Bechara Shravan kaise samjhega itna complicated style of communication 😆

@bold: Oh yes, that was a fabulous line....Motabha actually was a very perceptive and wise man in many ways....aage bhi he will foresee a lot of issues after he learns of Gulaal doing the deeyarvattu (DV) with Kesar.

Re: Niti....lol haan this was among her earliest shows I guess....her character disappears after the leap so she's mostly irrelevant in the story😆.....As for Rewa....no, she doesn't marry Kamlesh....she will end up marrying Gulaal's brother😆....

Dushyant did end up killing Vasant, yes....in one dark moment, he switched from initially trying to save Vasant to then tossing him over the bridge when he heard him murmuring Gulaal's name.....and this will be the defining moment that will hang over his head for the rest of the story. You have to see it to believe the way he changes....it's very well written and performed....the way his relationship with Gulaal evolves is also a marvel.

Gulaal did make it her life's mission to fulfill Vasant's dreams for his family and his village....and Vasant's biggest dream was Kesar....this is why Gulaal will also keep calling Kesar "Vasant ka sapna" in the story and remind him that his brother had big dreams for his future.

He really is a wise man. Did he know about Dushyantliking Gulaal? Because just before they are going for chheda chhedi, Dushyant says he will come too and Gulaal steps back. Motabha sees that and tells Dushyant he needs to stat behind to manage work. I felt like I missed something or as you said its just Motabhas perceptiveness.

I was really getting the feeling that she will end up marrying Kamlesh as Sudha and Jamuna were plotting to go divide and rule way😆 I was so damn sure too but now I can watch in relief😆Niti is there from the beginning but she hardly has any dialogue, its just last episode I watched had her like saying 5-6 lines😆

Also after tossing him there is a brief second, where you see the enormity of what he actually did dawns on him. That was done so brilliantly by Sushant, you see it in his eyes for a mere second! I am already marveling so much on the writing, especially the current condition of ITV makes this look like a master piece and much more. Imagine a show where you have such characterization of other characters too except for the main leads!!

No, I don't think Motabha knew that Dushyant liked Gulaal or still coveted her even after she married Vasant.....maybe he sensed something initially but once Vasant married Gulaal, uske baad I don't think Motabha had an idea of Dushyant ke bad intentions.

See, there's a reason why I still rave about this show and hold it to such a high standard on ITV😆....yes, it's one of the very rare ones where all the characters were woven in together and it wasn't just about token scenes for the "leads" per se....and that is why it ends up coming across as a more fully formed and layered story with many levels....ultimately Gulaal-Kesar's relationship is the most interesting part of the story for me but it's a more satisfying story precisely because of the way they weave in Dushyant's journey, Motabha's journey etc. too. It helps that the show only had a run of like 8-9 months....SP ended it a bit prematurely but even then they did the ending quite well.

The most touching part of Kesar-Gulaal's relationship was precisely this....their connection towards Vasant....they both hero worshipped Vasant and his death hit them the hardest...but somehow even that deepened their bond as they learnt to become each other's emotional support....somehow only they seemed to understand the loss of Vasant the most acutely with each other....and then later on when the rift happens, this will all become even more raw....Kesar feeling disillusioned with Gulaal thinking that she has betrayed Vasant's memory and by extension betrayed Kesar's trust in her.

To me, the Kesar-Gulaal angst is still the all time best written angst on ITV....I'll be curious to know your thoughts once you get to that point😆
