At first, I too justified it that way but now it seems like he is bluffing. There is nothing justifying his actions other than he is furious and irritated that he couldn't crack open riddhu still.

Highlights of episode 88:

1. Ishani takes away laptop when she sees Riddhima using it...Riddhima manages to take away chip but it falls down on the corridor n gets stuck with Aryan's shoe.

2. Chanchal tries to spoil Matarani's bhog but Dadi catches her n punishes her. She gives khandaani necklace to Riddhima for which Chanchal gets angry n she n Anupriya plan to plot against Riddhima.

3. Aryan comes to kitchen n cuts papaya with left hand. Riddhima sees this.

4. Dadi explains to Vansh that he needs to work extra to win trust of Riddhima's.

5. Vansh gifts his mother's lehenga to Riddhima...but still behaves with her rudely. Riddhima says I never had any symbol of my mother, so I will keep it with me. Then she requests Vansh to be present with her at mata's aarti.

Vansh leaves without replying.

Episode ends.

I think it is bcoz she knows Vansh will not like it. Aryan ko thappad mara toh Vansh ko fark nahi padega. Lekin Ishani ko thappad mara...woh bhi pregnant haalat mein...toh shayad Vansh usse ghar hi bahar nikaal de.

But Vansh said na that..after garba night he will tell Riddhima everything abt his life...
