It would be really stupid that itna hullabaloo karke Kaalganak ke ret ko lekar they don't make him remember anything. "Veer ko yaad aa jayega, yaad aa jayega" karke halla macha rakha hai uske khandaan ne, ab to yaad dila do yaar. Khatm karo baat ko.

Also, Veer has this inherent gut feeling about Jai being wrong. Apart from the fact that Jai trapped him, I feel this deep-rooted gut instinct is related to his past. It could be Aakesh knew some facts about Hriday, which no one else knew. So, once he remembers, he can utilize that knowledge to prove his point to Bani, as he had promised her when he said, "Main tumhe galat saabit karunga".

But anyway, let's see how Bani saves Veer, and how Veer remembers his past.
