Hello everyone so here I am long time no see but here this time I returned with big news I took this off and completed the story in advance so no need to worry for updates even in my absence.

So enough of ranting let’s dive-in-

PART-7:-

Arjun was driving back home but his thoughts were not clear; he is confused about the thoughts and strange incidents happening in his life over the past few days; he thought only his life was messed up but the creature, sleeping piously on the co-driver seat, is more messed up than his life. He was just driving absentmindedly only to realize that he again headed to the wrong path, after some moments of confusion again he decided to stop because he felt it's not a good idea to drive in this state of mind. After some time, he finally stopped at a tea stall and turned to Sanvi but she is in a deep slumber. He actually wanted to have some peace of mind for himself, which may be disturbed by her continuous blabbering. So he silently got down and orders a tea and went down the road to have a peaceful walk.

After good 15 minutes, Arjun returned back while a hot cup of tea was waiting for him on the wooden table. He slowly moved there and took the glass in the hand and glanced at the girl in the car snoring and mumbling something in her sleep. A small smile followed by a smirk was formed on his face. He started to wonder what she is made of. Sometimes she talks logics like Roshni, sometimes she’s strong-minded as Ayesha and sometimes she just carries the happy-and-chill character of Sakshi but again she has this mysterious vibe like some character right from the Sherlock books, and the bracelet on her hand adds the much-needed aura of the mysterious air around her. Arjun thought talking to her but he again had second thoughts as it would be unfair to invade into her privacy.

Sanvi, who is in a deep sleep, suddenly started mumbling loudly and her mumbling slowly turned into shivering. She was panting high totally covered with sweat; she was finding it hard to breathe, she started to cry and suddenly opened her eyes and found herself deserted in the middle of the road and she started shouting out of fear. Arjun who was paying for his tea suddenly heard her voices and ran to the car. She was panting and breathing heavily and shouting continuously.

Arjun: Are you alright?

Sanvi suddenly clenched his shirt and clings on to him with fear. She continues mumbling with tears which are now finding their place on his shirt. After some time she stopped crying, so Arjun tried to move her away, he separated her from only to find she is unconscious. He was shocked and numb with no second thought of what to do? He silently shifted her to the adjacent seat. He slowly got down from there and went to the tea stall to get some water for her and suddenly remembered something. Though hesitant at first he slowly fished out his mobile from the pocket and dialed a number.

On the other side of Mumbai:-

Sakshi is just watching a retro romantic movie with a melting ice-cream tub in her hand and she is crying for the heartbreaking with her comfy shirt used as tissue to clear both tears and the melting ice cream’s residue finally something vibrating under the pillow. She cleared her tears and took her mobile and just one glance at the lock screen her tears evaporated.

Sakshi: hello Arjun? Is everything alright?

Arjun: yes kuch kaam hain,

Sakshi: ohh itni raat case. Okay, I’ll be in the office within an hour.

Arjun: work related kaam nahi kuch personal favor.

As soon as Sakshi listened to the word personal favor, her heart started to dance she stood in excitement, and the ice-cream tub in her lap just spilled on the ground due to that force. On the other hand, Arjun was confused because of this silence she neither agreed nor denied, not wanting to waste any time more he coughed bringing her back to senses.

Sakshi: ha, yes I will.

Arjun: fine I’ll be there in 10 minutes.

Saying this he disconnected the call. Sakshi threw the mobile on the bed and started twirling and moving here and there but suddenly saw the already melted ice-cream with a scary face. She then cleaned the mess and was ready in the cellar waiting for Arjun by the time he came.

Sakshi saw Sanvi in the co-driver seat sleeping while Arjun was driving.

Sakshi: yeh Arjun bhi na Kabhi Kabhi psychopath jaise behave karthe hain. Agar kaam hain toh akela chalna hain bechari, Sanvi Dekho ghaadi mein so rahi hain.

By the time she came out of her own thoughts she saw the car waiting for her, she silently took the back seat.

Sakshi: hi arjun, hi Sanvi.

Arjun: wo behosh hain.

Sakshi: what? Kaise?

Arjun: questionnaire ko answer karne ke liye mein yaha nahi hun. I thought I’m not good handling a girl like this, I thought you would help.

Sakshi: (muttering) khadoos

Arjun: Kya Hua?

Sakshi: I was reminiscing some old song... (Arjun turned towards the road) Nayak nahi…khalnayak hain tuu (Sakshi sang loudly) yehi song GAA rahi thi.

Arjun just concentrated on the road and after fifteen minutes they were in the hospital. They slowly took her inside. Sakshi went to fill the forms and have a look at the formalities, while Arjun stayed back with Sanvi.

Sanvi slowly opened her eyes slowly and found a blurry version of Arjun in front of her,

Sanvi: Arjun please help me, please I can’t bear this stress, please help me to get out of this, maine jaan bujhkar riya ke saath aisa nahi kiya. I regret every second of my life Arjun please, help me(muttering with tears flowing down and getting hiccups) kill me; please kill meI can’t bear this guilt and pain.

By the time she continued her talk doctor entered the room with Sakshi. He then checked her pulse and sighed to Arjun and Sakshi to wait outside. Arjun and Sakshi slowly went outside and sat in the corridor.

Sakshi: Kaise Hua?

Arjun told her the entire story except for the discussions between them.

Sakshi: maybe she got a bad dream I mean something worse like you giving her a lecture just like you give us every single day.

Arjun: Sakshi this is hospital behave.

Sakshi: lo ji aagaya drillmaster, Arjun this is a joke, jab koi joke Martha na Tabb hasna chahiye that’s basic rule hain. Aur tumhe toh body mein funny bones hi Nahi Hain.

Arjun: sirf body mein nahi life mein bhi nahi hain and Idon’t even want them. Is that clear?

Sakshi: don’t you get bored keeping khadoos faces all-day(he looks at her sternly clenching his jaw) tumhare gusse se mein nahi darthi hun. (after some time) Kuch nahi hoga bas Saturday aur Sunday practice Karo.

Arjun: (confused) kya?

Sakshi: hasna, practice Karo. I know it will not be easy par impossible bhi nahi hain. Bas try Karo.

Arjun was looking around; Sakshi suddenly noticed this and sighed him.

Sakshi: kya chahiye? I will help you?

Arjun: huh bas piece of mind and please do one help stop giving me stupid advice and just take your seat.

Sakshi: and remember you are no one to control me, because yeh office nahi hain and I voluntarily agreed to help you, it’s your need not mine. Now down slow your tone, just polite words hi chalega.

The doctor came out after half-an-hour and was checking for the patient’s family. Sakshi was already in a slumber sitting on the chair. So Arjun went to the doctor,

Doctor: aap?

Arjun: Arjun Rawthe, Sanvi is my colleague.

Doctor: she is just too stressed.

Arjun: but why?

Doctor: when something is compressed for a long time it blasts bas aise hi Hua tha, usne apne andar saare stress chupa Liya and then something triggered her and she just got anxiety and then followed by a panic attack.

Arjun: how’s she now?

Doctor: she’s fine for now, we’ve given sedatives to her to soothe the brain but she needs a change.

Arjun: change? I mean which type of change?

Doctor: bas simple, just a good positive trip or spending time with dear ones. Just some stress buster kind of thing that keeps away from this stress and then she will be normal. But once please do cross-check her previous medical records.

Arjun: sure doctor.

Doctor: she should be under observation now you can take her home tomorrow after some minor formalities.

Arjun: okay doctor. (Turning to Sakshi) tum yahaan wait karo, mein bas 10-minute mein waapas aaunga. Tum shree ko call karke batao.

Doctor: give her some good books and create a positive environment.

Arjun: books? Sure doctor.

Arjun then leaves for his house to get Sanvi another pair of dress and the money needed to pay the hospital expenses. He then went to her room and saw a bag lying there on the corner. He opened that, saw a small Polaroid frame with Riya, Shree, and Sanvi showing their weird pout faces and laughing like maniacs. He just smiled at the three happy creatures, who now turned into mysterious puzzles now. He just shook his head and took some clothes. He then opened the drawer and then took her id card to identity proof. As soon as he was done with packing, He rushed downstairs but suddenly remembered about books.

Arjun: books toh Roshini ke shelf mein kuch hain. (He turnsback and heads back to their room)

He then opens the cupboard with a heavy heart, controlling himself to not break once again for the nth time. He slowly headed towards the cupboard and the perfume from the clothe just threw salt on his wounded heart, he sat their helplessly looking into emptiness for a while and then picked up the pieces of his broken heart and stood up to get a box down which contained books which were read by Roshni. He slowly raised his hands and slowly moved the box but due to lack of balance the box slipped and the books were scattered all around the floor. He slowly picked one after one. He then saw a book “The diary of a young girl” from a far distance and a small Polaroid picture beneath it. He slowly took both the picture in his hand and turned it only to find that the Zameen hilane wala discovery.

He saw Riya, not the one used to see regularly, she was young with over grown bangs falling on her face, smiling with all the teeth visible and the scars on her face didn’t go unnoticed. He turned the picture and written in small words. “Riya Mukherjee-Kolkata” he then slowly opened the book and saw a small old note hanging onto it.

“Dear Roshni,

I am writing this with your bracelet still hanging on my hand. I just can’t thank you for whatever you’ve done to this. Maybe we may or may not meet again but you will always be present in my prayers till eternity. Sending you more love along with rasmalai’s and this book.

Mujhe yeh sad book ke bare mein curse math Karna this was a book which my father gifted my brother and he gifted me. It has shown me how to live and how to not lose hope. Hope you get the love, courage, and everything good in this world. Though our encounter was shorter I will cherish it for a lifetime.

Arjun saw the date and was shocked it was just 4 days before Roshni's death. He suddenly remembered the rasmalai’s and their talk on that day.

….

Arjun was sitting in the balcony and was sipping his tea while Roshini came with her cup of tea.

Roshini: ACP Saab kya baath hain?

Arjun: acp ki biwi saheba kuch nahi.

Roshni: wah aaj itni Shanti, where is the angry mard. My pati parmeshwar is missing.

Arjun: enjoy kijiye saheba. 50 shades of ACP.

Roshni: tumhe na 50 nahi 5000 shades hain.

Arjun: acha toh shades dikhau?

Roshni: thank you, nahi chahiye Mujhe yeh shades.

Arjun started to move closer and slowly trapped her in between him and the wall. Roshni closed her eyes, after some time she gathered the courage and opened her eyes; Arjun was looking at her mesmerized, suddenly the doorbell rang.

Roshni: arjun ghanti bhaji.

Arjun: ha tumhe dekthe hi mere dil mein ghanti bhaji.

Roshini: are budhu ram, dil ki nahi door ki.

Saying this she pushed him aside and went to the door only to find a courier man waiting for her.

Courier man: aap teacher Roshni hain na?

Roshni: ha yes,

Courier man: yeh aapki parcel, aapke school ke address pe aayi thi par wo bola you were on a leave.

Roshni: thank you.

Saying this she signed the paper and went inside with the box. She slowly unpacked them sitting on the sofa Arjun was busy reading the newspaper. She then slowly smiled looking at the card and then slowly looked at the book and kept the card in the book and went inside their room after some time she returned back and smiled at that. She turned to Arjun who was pretending to read the newspaper but was observing her.

Roshni: muh meeta karna hain?

Arjun: tum bhi na. iss time pe, (smiling sheepishly) theek hain main toh bas joru ka gulam hun.

Roshni: aankhe band karo.

Arjun: theek hain (closed his eyes like an obedient kid)

Roshni: pass aao

Arjun moved forward with a naughty smile.

Roshni: ab muh kholo

Arjun was confused but opened his mouth a Lil bit. Roshnislowly kept rasmalai in his mouth. Unexpected by this, he started choking she then slowly patted his back.

Roshni: ab hua na? muh meetha.

Arjun: you were talking about this?

Roshni: ha hand-made rasmalai especially for your darling wife from Kolkata.

Arjun: do you have friends in Kolkata?

Roshni: Nahi toh?

Arjun: toh phir yeh?

Roshni: thofa thofa thofa (singing)

Arjun: kiske liye?

Roshni: tumhare jitna toh nahi par maine bhi kuch social-service kiya uski gratitude and gifts. This girl tumhe patha nahi but she is amazing lekin life ne itni choti umar mein itna hua. Life isn’t fair to everyone Arjun.

Arjun nods.

Roshni: I am just thankful to god. Jo bhi hogi Hamari future mein, you’ll be there for me.

Arjun smiles and forwards his hand to a side hug. Roshni and Arjun stayed like that for some time.

….

Arjun sank on the floor, so there was something that happened to Riya Iska Matlab Riya and Roshni ke beech kuch connection hain. And why was that bracelet with Sanvi? Why did Roshni helo kiya aur kis type ki help? What was the problem Riya was facing as Roshni mentioned? These new questions were just like another burden falling on his head. Suddenly he noticed his mobile was continuously ringing for half-an-hour.

Sakshi: (on the other-side) Arjun is everything alright?

Arjun: nothing I’ll be there in 10 minutes.

He then took the photo and book, kept in his shelf, cleaned the floor, and then just took a book without giving it even a look,

Hospital:

Sakshi informed shree, he came rushed and after talking to the doctor he calmed a bit. By that time, Arjun returned.

Shree: thank you, sir. (Shree hugged Arjun tearfully)

Arjun then looked at the room. Sakshi knowing his intentions coughed to get his attention.

Sakshi: within 10 minutes she will be awake.

Arjun: let’s go.

After 10 minutes Sanvi woke up, she then looked at Arjun shree and Sakshi looking at her with excitement.

Shree: why don’t you just think of yourself? (And shree started blabbering) what were you thinking about then?

Sanvi: us (shree sighed) happy times, good memories phir achanak se us bura incident ka Yaad aaya. (She started to shiver)

Arjun: (coughs to gain her attention) yeh tumhare essentials, kuch breakfast, and the doctor suggested to surround yourself with good people and good books. So take this.

Sanvi smiled and took the book, the smile on her face faded away looking at the book turning into a smirk.

Sanvi: so this book gives me all the good vibes on this planet? Hain na shree (saying this she looked at shree and Sakshi who were controlling hard themselves not to laugh) “BEDTIME STORIES FOR KIDS”.

Suddenly Sakshi got a call from sameer.

Sakshi: guys case, par this time (raising her hands high and indicated flying) in Kolkata.

Shree: theek hain I’ll be there in 2 hours. Lekin Sanvi?

Arjun: Sanvi why don’t you join us?

Shree: yes that’s a really good idea, waha toh dada Sarah, mom dad sab hogi and tu,hari stress thoda kam hojayegi.

Sanvi: lekin yaha Mujhe kuch kaam hain.

Arjun: work can wait.

Saying this he left an awestruck Sanvi, shree, and Sakshi.

Precap:

Arjun: Sanvi? Tum yaha?

Sanvi: expect nahi kiya na? sir, why are you so much interested in our lives? Aap uske boss ko ha yah superior ho bas wo job tak hi hain. You shouldn't involve more than that, bas wahi sabke liye bhalai hain sir. (pointing finger at him) And invading into everyone's privacy like this doesn’t make you superior. Keep your savior complex in check.

Scene 2:

Shree: bhabhi hum uss teacher ke bare mein patha Karna chahiye. I mean I don’t know her name.

Sarah: I know where she used to work.
