And to think she gets hate just for portraying a character 👎🏼

In case the audience didn’t understand from the precap that Kuhu is a vamp now, the writers had her drumming fingers on her pregnant belly with malicious dialogues.

And incase some people didn’t comprehend even from that, they had Parul outright blame her for everything in front of the God.

Parul kya, even someone like Meenakshi now hails her as an ultimate villain- one bahu trying to keep her son happy and one bahu trying to make him unhappy. And mind you, Meenakshi was the one who had been instigating the sisters(?) against one another since the remarriage. Ab bahu o ke beech mein aag lagao ge toh bete affect toh honge na? But nahi, Kuhu is reason for everything.

Maybe Mehul, Varun, Naman can also come back to blame their misdeeds on her. Afterall OTTness chahiye na.

ITV FLs are always right and always crying - 2 major requirements. Now to highlight their mahanta, all other characters are the sacrificial lambs (including MLs).

Ab toh TRP should skyrocket.

💯

That finger drumming thing🤣

Kaveri is fully nichodo-ing this😆

Did you notice notice the dramatic eye-opening moment before the scene shifted to Parul? I was so amused while watching today's episode, because their motive is not subtle at all. Like you can clearly see what is happening.

Also, the scene that neither of us mentioned: Mishti crying while hugging that sonogram and daydreaming that Parul and Abir have fixed everything and then KuhuNal apologise to her, and forgives them because all that matters to her is the baby. They are so blatantly portraying Mishti as the "pure-hearted" devi FL and Kuhu as the vamp. Bas balaji shows ki dramatic editing ki kami thi. Maana ki show khatam hone waala hai but thodi toh mehnat kar lete last ke dinon ki script mein, or maybe it's their way of saying, "humaare paas ab story nahi bachi. Please bandh karne do ye show".

@riya1605: If that happened, I must say I'm not surprised at all. That being said, if it was posted for a long enough time to recieve hate comments, atleast one fanpage would have shared it on IG but I saw none. I guess SP shared Rupal Ji's message because she is not on IG. I wonder why the only other actor who has recorded (or rather, shared) a message is Kaveri, while you have Sangeeta ji posting captions hinting that she is still hopeful for an extension. Scene kya hai?!

Update: just checked Kaveri's IG. She seems to have removed the video. Maybe she posted it too early or it was supposed to be part of a larger video with all cast members?

Star plus had shared rhea's thank you message as well similar to kaveri and rupal ji .

Kaveri Priyam is a wonderful actress. Kudos to her work on the show and I started watching the show because of KuKu. I hope she gets incredible work ahead in her career and she gets to do power-packed roles.

Read Kaveri’s interview on Tellychakkar.

Here’s an excerpt- “On being asked if she is ready to take up grey shade roles, Kaveri said, "I don't mind taking up negative roles on the web platform."

Kaveri further highlighted the fact that she is not willing to do grey shade roles on TV because the audience is different.“

I think after all the unnecessary hate, she has also realized that grey characters are not appreciated by ITV audience because they only understand- good and bad. Nothing in between. It’s quite true- flaws esp in a woman character is still not accepted therefore she is ultimately made a vamp.

Anyway, more power to her though I feel bad for the bashing she gets (just for playing a character).

So true!!! ITV audience doesn't appreciate or understand grey or even negative characters for that matter, but the onus doesn't just lie on them. It depends on the makers as well because they manipulate the story (through bg music and those camera zoom ins) to make these women look like the most evil people on the planet. Also, the men are never made to look so evil. They are given a more neutral set-up so that the audience can decide how they feel about these men. That same chance is never given to female characters.

The ITV writers can never do justice to grey characters because they flip them like toast to suit TRP needs and hence the characters are never justifiable. Like Kuhu in the current track, she could have been manipulative and given it back to Meenakshi but she was mean to Mishti and I dont see a reason why she had to be nasty to her except for the fact that the writers wanted masala and drama and kuhu served that purpose.
