And also yes, if he considered Bon as just Responsibility, he wouldn't feel this much regret in Marrying Mini. Because for him society doesn't matter and thus no problem with People calling her second wife. But he says that if second wife comes, first wife feels dejected and also second wife will feel bad meaning he cannot give Mini the place of first wife, Bon!!

Yup!! He had just liked the idea of marrying Mini I guess. So when it shattered he became very sad but then moved on pretty quickly especially after learning Bondita is the letter girl.

He never had much emotional attachment with anyone apart from Bondita I think, not even with his family. She was the only one with whom he talked so much and laughed so much but she was a very constant presence in his life. So he never gave much thought to how much she had become important for him. But now when she is gone be is missing her immensely, he suddenly feels very lonely. He is even imagining her presence everywhere which never happened for Mini also whom he claims to love.

And that day when Binoy brought Mini in front of him saying look this is the girl you love, the girl you wanted to marry. And Ani didn't look affected at all, he was looking here and there. He couldn't meet Binoy's eyes. Because now he doesn't want to marry her anymore. He has moved on completely but maybe still doesn't realize that. Also I feel the bond he has with Bondita is very special to him and he doesn't want to taint it with this second marriage thing. He just cannot give her place to anyone now.
