Day 3 : Hardangerfjord

The next day, they went to see Hardangerfjord which is just a short distance away from Bergen.

From there, they took a flight to land in Alesund.

Going a little distance more, they stayed in Hotel Union Øye.

Day 4 : Hotel Union Øye

The hotel is history itself, being established in 1891. It has been a favorite venue for Royalties, Authors and Lovers and the 27 rooms are all named after famous personalities who visited.

There are various artifacts and stories making it feel like living in a museum itself.

Later in the day, Arnav and Khushi took a Helicopter ride and explore the Sunnmøre region by air. They got amazing views of glaciers, fjords, mountains and landmarks.

Day 5 - 7 : Lofoten islands

Taking one more flight, Arshi landed in Lofoten islands.

Here, they spent their days roaming around the Beaches and even went on a little hike one day.

And the nights were spend in each others company while taking in the scenic views around them.

They stayed in a Rorku which is a traditional hut built on stilts.

And one of the nights was spent in this Pretty Cabin House some distance away from Lofoten islands.

Day 8 - 10 : Tromsø

Although Khushi was enjoying the trip, she was disappointed on not having seen snow yet.

Infact, they were yet to witness the elusive Northern Lights too.

In the last leg of their trip, they took a Ferry to Tromsø.

And to Khushi's luck, they arrived right in the middle of a Snowfall.

She frolicked around in the snow while Arnav tried to dissuade her by warning about catching a common cold. BUt his arguments only lasted till Khushi hit him with a Snow ball and challenged him to a Snow fight. Well, Khushi has understood that just like her, Laad Governer can also not resist challenges... especially when thrown by her 😉.

The snowfall soon ended but the place looked very pretty with the tiny houses having snow on their rooftops.

Khushi now had just one wish which was to see the Northern lights before their trip ended. Arnav had made special arrangements for them to stay a little outside the town and in a place where they had more chances of viewing the Northern lights.

In the day time they spend time in their Ice hotel and sometimes roaming around Tromsø.

They visited Polaris which has special movies featuring the Arctic area and also houses an aquarium of Arctic fishes, Seals and more.

And in the nights, they sat up long hours, sometimes cuddling and talking, other times just looking at the sky and waiting for the Northern lights which failed to appear.

Although Arnav assured Khushi that they could extend their trip and stay till they didn't catch the Northern lights, she declined stating his business and their own families who were all waiting for them back in Delhi.

Eventually, they decided to take the Cable Car which offers a guided trip to catch the Northern lights.

And it was on this last night, the Northern lights finally graced them with its presence.

Wow stuti!! This is a beautiful honeymoon!

This brings us to the end of our mini trip to Norway and also our entire journey that started few days before the Shagun and lead us till here.

So many of us have been a part of this journey but we can all admit that some members gave more than others. Whether it be staying up late or taking time out from their busy schedules, some of us went an extra mile and today I wish to acknowledge two such members.

Dear Bhavisweet03 and bubulswt, this is a small token of appreciation from my side for all your efforts and enthusiasm. I hope you like the Siggies.

(Don't compare my work with Mysticaldivine or PriyaArshiSarun... they are waaaayy better than me 🙈)

And to all others who participated, no matter from which side and in what role,

Just because I'm giving Siggies to two of them and not to the rest, it's not supposed to mean I don't appreciate everything you all have done too ❤️

I hope we meet soon in some other event and have as much fun together as we did here 🥳

Because any event won't be fun with just 2-3 people. I firmly believe,

The More the Merrier

Umm... this thread was made to celebrate the Remarriage Anniversary of Arshi in a different style by having all the functions again. We aren't exactly writing OS over here because our celebration was composed of various other elements.
