I think he's not into the parent role. Like he lit up the screen when he and sriti have scenes. He is casual with scenes like Vikram Pallavi and the new kids. With Rhea he's too casual. Like he's not into it. And who can blame him he made the show and now he's made parent to people who are almost his age. Probably it shows how the character reacts to serious stuff.
