This serial had no storyline, no character development and overnight jumping into new tracks without proper closure of the earlier track. I'm glad Erica has acknowledged it, although subtly. The writers were the biggest villians in this story and they haven't done justice to any character except Komolika, to an extent.

But this KZK is not even close to S1. the storyline, the acting, the chemistry nothing is the same here. The character prerna despite all the hardships stood strong was a weak woman here. Shweta played the role of prerna so amazingly and erica couldn't come even close to 10% of that. What a character bajaj was. nothing is the same here. Many tuned into see the magic created 20 years ago but it was a disaster.

Kzk2 failure shows that still people are there for good stoty line not for filthy love between the two who are worthless in everything.

because they catered to both fandom it end up hitting them in the face hard. All that promotion, marketing etc was a waste. The show didn't need villains over and over again to show a star crossed lovers tale. Prerna and anurag were suppose to go on their separate journeys. Forget bajaj but it would've been another guy that prerna would've moved on with. Ekta shouted out to the audience "this is a star cross lover romance" then show every track of both lovers married to different people yet living together under one roof romancing with their spouses around. People find that distasteful. Instead of showing everytime komolika being the cause of separation there are so many outside forces that causes lovers to drift apart. Money, communication, trust, parents, past relationship, career. All of this writers could've used as great storylines instead of showing one repeated thing over and over again with villains coming in be it naveen, komolika, viraj etc. A past relationship with someone from the past with either prerna or anurag could've been a good storyline to keep them apart. Instead of using komolika over and over. Anyway it failed big time lol

Why is difficult to understand that Erica didn't called KZK2 as flop. Erica have nowhere in this article and interview have mentioned that KZK2 or Anupre as a flop so why are her words being misinterpreted from the articles. She have just confessed that what works 20 years will back will not work now. I have read this article but I have no where found the word flop in any part of the article. When did Erica really used the word flop in the article and interview😕

We shouldn't believe that by 20 years back Erica meant about prerish since Erica didn't mentioned about Prerish in the article but we could definitely believe about KZK2 being a flop eventhough Erica didn't take KZK2 name and use or called KZK2 as flop in the article

How can we believe by 20 years back she specifically meant about KZK2 or KZK1, Erica also could also talked about the difference between other 90's show audience and present audience preference in storyline of ITV shows by saying what works 20 years ago will not work now since Erica didn't mentioned about KZK2 or KZK1🥱

By 20 years how can Erica mean about KZK2 and Anupre since 20 years before KZK2 didn't started. KZK2 started in 25 September 2018 i.e 2 years back not 20 years before. By 20 years back Erica definitely meant KZK1 or other 90 shows. KZK1 was the story of prerish not Anupre. Anupre were not the main couple or leads in 20 years back KZK1 it was prerish😃

By the line what works 20 years back will not work now Erica meant about the cross marriages and heroine romancing the other guy who is not the ML lead that didn't work now. In the 90s audience liked cross marriages and heroine romancing the other guy in a show but the present audience didn't liked this storyline anymore. If the storyline of cross marriages and heroine works then why all the present ITV shows is not following the format. Even all BT shows have stopped the storyline of cross marriages and heroine romancing the other guy other than the ML. Even all the other production other than BT have also stopped this storyline of cross marriages and heroine romancing the other guy. Someone from that audience now also may like the storyline of cross marriages and heroine romancing the other guy it is no big deal all people have different preference but nowadays this storyline of cross marriages and heroine romancing the other guy has been stopped totally in all ITV shows. In some shows the storyline could be some different like the FL lead may get married to other guy in the show who is the not the male lead but the FL lead didn't fall for the other guy who is the not the ML in ITV nowadays👍🏼

That's it nowadays all productions houses are bringing shows in which the FL lead only marries and loved the ML throughout the show the FL didn't fall for the other guys nowadays in ITV and what works 20 years ago will not work now👍🏼

Her statement clearly points out that forcing BaPre and Anurag-Komo as a couple didn’t work in S2 whereas it worked in S1 (this is what has been repeated in S2 from S1).🤭

In S1, BaPre happened instead of AnuPre but this does not mean, it will successfully happen in S2 too. CVs tried their best to show BaPre as endgame instead of AnuPre but I’m so glad this crap has been rejected by audience.🤣

AnuPre were clearly loved by audience in S2 than any other xyz! 😅♥️

Who wants to see a couple staying forever sad and separated through out the whole show in today’s time (talking about AnuPre here).

As much as I am going to miss AnuPre/Parica, I’m thankful to Parth for finally putting his foot down against the S2 storyline and quitting the show because we would have never been able to see AnuPre together due to EK’s ego for rail ki patri.😎

Thank you EK and CVs for correcting your mistake in last episodes of S2 which you have made in S1 by finally having AnuPre as an endgame in S2 ! 🥳

Atleast Erica is accepting KZK 2 isn’t successful as KZK1. Neither of the couples worked due to major pandering, and making Prerna look like a spineless fool. Individually, NONE Of the characters worked except Komolika. The show from day 1 didn’t set any records for style, content, characters. The actors associated with this show on the whole didn’t become any more popular than they already were. All in all, very easy decision for makers and channel to pull the plug and end everyone’s miseries. As a charity, they gave AnuPre ending in the last week, and have moved on from this mess of a show.

This sums up everything for me. I appreciate Erica for being honest in accepting that this show didn't work. They had a good cast and the actors did what they could with the limited scope given by the writers. They can't be n shouldn't be blamed for the failure. Parth, Erica, KSG, KP, Hina, Aamna n even the supporting cast have had successful shows behind them. 👏 completely agree with you here. the crux of the matter was the shitty writing & lack of direction. no matter how good an actor is they can't work wonders without a good script & KZK seriously lacked both. a show is supposed to be much more than just a couple.

We can't say which Jodi worked or which didn't work bcoz neither of them actually United. It was always about individual characters fighting for the other. said it before as well, not 1 couple was shown without a 3rd wheel. with AnuPre Komo was in the middle & with PreRish...well that was AnuPre too... but separated with RB in the middle 😆 so how can any of the FD claim victory or defeat 🤔 (personally i don't think PreRish was ever really tried because Prerna loved only Anu & wasn't/didn't move on)Too much toxicity in the name of love. Anurag's love for majbooris, Prerna's love for beizzatis, Bajaj's confused love n Komolika's obsession wala love... everything was toxic n was rejected by the audience. this is the gospel truth 👏 nobody wants to watch constant negativity especially when the writing is this shitty too. i mean KZK1 wasn't anything special either BUT at least it had some fun, light-hearted & entertaining tracks 😆

WHAT???? What show are you watching? Did you just miss the entire AnuPre love story of the past two years?

And who is "neither of the couples" Anurag and Komollika is not a couple. They are a tragedy of mega proportions. Anurag is trapped by a criminal, that's all.
