He was just a possible suitor of mini whom he thought he is in love with as well, also mini was arranged by his family too for him, he didn't promise anything to her as far as i know, that time he didn't even proposed her for marriage n when that night he was supposed to propose he came back marrying bondita.

Bondita is his legal wife he married her with full rituals also with giving lots of promise to take care of her in every step of her life & those promises he did in front of bondita's whole family n in front of whole villagers.

So both the scenarios are different of breaking promises n all.

Kal raat maine bahut socha aur phir conclude kiya that our problem with show lies in the fact that we see few pictures and jump to conclusions. We don't talk on the basis of the episode (most of the times) and have our inhibitions because we have never been to that era nor do we possibly know anyone from that era where things were not as it is in 2020. Yes Aniruddh was shown to be a different guy than the rest of the men of his times and he still is (in some ways) but he was still a human, who has multiple flaws, like most of us. And so is Bondita. We let go of her acts a lot of times because she's a kiddo and we understand that fact. Aniruddh's acts are not justified and they were big blunders that I would want him to regret and rectify in the best way possible and I'll hold my hope in him for this track. He's dumb and there's no doubt to that and I hope this track makes him smarter and shows him that he always (well at least most of the times) believes the wrong human and that the knowledge he had acquired in the law school are also to be applied in real life.
