Rahi baat paison ki toh Kunal has been working tirelessly while the only time Abir contributed was during his break-up with Mishti so I don't see it as despicable. Kuhu stayed away from Kunal for 3months holding down the while Kunal was working his butt off, and Meenu cried over Abir leaving the house so, if they have any business at this point, it's because he was putting in the work.
So just because Mishti won't literally become a kaam wali bai, it's justified if she's figuratively treated like Parul? And that worst fear of hers you're referring to is only because she WENT AHEAD with surrogacy and lost out on her mom and chachi's support and love who are making her see that what she is doing will not solve her problems but will only make them worse after delivery! And she countered Jazz saying that jazz will be proud of her when she realises she(Kuhu) is actually do this for "apni bhalai." And that's what she's been proving with her actions. She's making sure it doesn't happen by making a filthy sauda with Meenu which now includes Abir's share of the inheritance else no asli waaris. She's belittling and torturing Mishti and has plans to continue doing so forever.
Abir doesn't need money either and he's not a freeloader or a dependent from any angle just because he has no participation in the family business. He doesn't sit khaali at home, eating Kunal's money . He has just as much rights as Kunal on everything that is Naanu's and Meenu's. Atul and Ketki have the same rights. It's a family business, family property, not Kunal's business. If there is anyone who has no right to lay any claims to it, it is Kuhu. She can make her stupid deals at Mah house to secure her future, not RJV sadan.
And RJV business thrived in the first place because of Meenakshi, she salvaged it from the losses caused by Mehul's scam. Kunal took it to the heights it has reached now, but not from scratch. If he had set up the business from scratch, you can argue that he should be the majority shareholder.
Kuhu staying away from Kunal for 3 months isn't some mahaan sacrifice on her part for the family's prosperity. They explained that Kunal was stuck due to the pandemic, because international travel was halted. He could have and would have returned earlier. Abir could have travelled too on his NGO work and left Mish behind but since he didn't, it's convenient to see this as Kuhu's sacrifice. And if she had to hold down the fort, it's because MishBir didn't return from the resort and you know why...
