Were they trying to make this into sasthiya part 2.. which didn’t work coz abir is no ahem and mishti is no gopi...., so they decided to axe this and bring actual saathiya 2???

When I show started and I knew Rupal man is cast.. I was a bit skeptical

As much as offscreen Rupal mam is a darling, her onscreen persona and popularity kind of got to the show.. star made sure that she gets more footage... but the writers forgot that kokila was strict but not evil and manipulative.., and they went overboard with meenu and kuhu by association

the rest is history

I watched the episodes to see if Varsha had triumphed in giving Kuhu some sadbuddhi and some sense of security. Kuhu is basically surrounded with loads and loads of people making her insecure like when Nidhi said demotion, Parul mentioning that she accepted that her place was downstairs, Jasmeet telling her that the RVs would use and throw her, Kunal only stopping his taunts when she basically sacrificed the only thing that gives her some level of security and confidence i.e. her looks and the way everyone was telling her to not go anywhere, they must've gotten her to take a break from her work also. So, Kuhu basically has nothing to make her feel like herself or happy. No wonder she is being so mean.

@bold - No. Kunal went and apologized and told her she does not need to do this. When MishBir said no to surrogacy, he thanked her for trying and said it was their decision.

She had everyone on her side when she was against surrogacy. She didn't tell the people who could have helped when it came to making the decision and just thought about position and property. And is still thinking that way now based on her conversation with Meenu at the end of today's episode.

Even though you didn't watch the episodes, you must have some idea that she canceled their adoption just when they were getting the baby, and even after that when they said no to the surrogacy, convinced them (along with Kunal) by listing all the things they had done for Kunal and Kuhu and telling Mishti she was doing this because she was her "sister". And all this when she knew all along she was doing it for security. Even at this point, I was ok with what she was doing. Let's not consider how she treats Mishti, what about the baby? The way she is treating the baby like a commodity makes her heartless for me. And if it is about securing the future, she had that future with her modeling contract (as she herself says), then why this? And if she really wanted a transaction, why hide it from the people involved and pretend it is her "sacrifice" and that she is "mahaan"?

Sorry my very liking for the character is making me mad today.

I wish I could answer your questions but they seem to be related to today's episode which I haven't seen and I don't wish to see either.

The only question I think I can answer is the last one. And the answer is - for Kunal. That idiot has no sense of his own future. He would readily sacrifice everything he has tirelessly worked for in a heartbeat for his maa and bhai (and now, bhabhi). I doubt he has any assets. The one company he owned is now in Mishti's name so where does his and Kuhu's future lie? The only way out of this situation was to divorce Kunal which I have been hoping for because Kunal 2.0, along with being a dum-dum, is a Grade A a-hole husband, but this is a DKP show so divorce is out of bounds.

In my head filled with alternate endings for this show, I consider Kuhu walking out of the house after Kunal asked her to become a surrogate. Let's consider the bit where he meets Kuhu at night also canon. I see a fight ensuing after he said, "ek galti toh sabko maaf hoti hai na". I wanted to kick him so hard when he said that because he is way way past ek galti. I'll stop now because I've beaten Kunal to a pulp in my head.

Kuhu's flaws, insecurity and jealousy was tolerable and understandable until lockdown. After lockdown they have blown up her jealousy into illogical hatred and made her incomprehensible, not relatable and plain annoying

I feel bad for Kaveri and her fans. honestly I enjoy her comedy scenes. Those scenes where she is genuinely being her clumsy, funny, sarcastic Kuhu-self, are really nice to watch, Kaveri has good comic timing. But here the makers are hell-bent in making her the centre-stage but not positively, but rather villainous and creating problems in mishbir's lives - and then give her senseless dialogues like 'Mishti tum mera life mein villain hona band kar'

I frankly just think nowadays Abir slipping in the word 'bro' for Kuhu is honestly Shah's nature and bond with Kaveri. I'm sure he calls Kaveri bro offscreen, so sometimes he just translates it to onscreen as well - without realising how it makes no sense to the plotline and character archs.

p.s to be clear, I have no issues with Kaveri or Shah's bond with her offscreen. THey seem like cool friends.

I too always thought that their offscreen bond looked like sibling bond. Sometimes it might create impact onscreen too.

This series definitely butchered every single character never even left the leads. How can they lose their serial like this!

I am so happy that series is ending lol.

Hope Kaveri does some light hearted series in the future.

Kuhu is not an orphan...who has to beg to Meenakshii for her future...

She comes from a well to do family and has inheritance there too.

She has a highly educated husband...

She is capable of earning...

And what does she have in RVs...It's a fact that Kunal is not an adopted child of Meenakshii...

So no rightful claims on RVs fortune till date..

But if she wants that and can go to any extend for her husband's rights whom she kinda disowned when he put forward the idea of surrogacy is just Greed...

He is loving and caring and even proud of his wife....feel absolutely sorry for him...if he modelling agency had approached her just before pregnancy and put a no marriage clause I don't think she will hesitate starting divorce proceedings...just because it suits her.

Mishty never tried to harm Kuhu...and supported her Everytime ..if she is not able to take a stand and Mishty is applauded for taking stand in the events of her life why would Kuhu feel insecure?

If Mishty''s existence is the reason of her insecurities then it's high time to call out her kuhuness as pure ..pitch black Jealousy..
