The ongoing drug probe in the entertainment industry seems to be getting deeper by the day as new names continue to crop up. Sara Khan and Angad Hasija are the newest names that are said to have been sent summons.

The NCB is currently probing the drug angle to the Sushant Singh Rajput murder case, however, there also seems to be an out and out investigation going on regarding the drug nexus that exists. It was recently that the names of Sanam Johar and Abigail Pande cropped up and they were summoned.

In fact, reports have it that NCB has also conducted a raid at their home in Juhu on Wednesday while they were summoned for interrogation. The popular duo from the television industry allegedly had connections with drug peddler Anuj Keswani and was questioned about the same by the NCB.

And now, the names that have cropped up are that of television actors Sara Khan and Angad Hasija. According to the reports in Republic TV, the two will also be summoned by the NCB for interrogation.

Sara had recently tested positive for Covid-19 and after self-isolating herself for 14 days, she had resumed shooting for her daily soap.

They both really look like very addicted. Oh god I am so scared of these on counter drugs now. I am taking Pulmicort everyday from last 3 months...I checked 100 times I’f this is a drug can get you addicted. This whole thing sending chills.

They are steroid medicated drugs na...dont worry....even my Mom takes them for Asthma. Steroid don't have addiction property...its only those hardcore opioid narcotics that one has to worry about.

But yeah, this whole drug cartel has spread almost everywhere and the news is becoming more shocking now.

Her counsel further said if the case in which the brother-sister duo has been arrested is in connection with Rajput’s death, it should be transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

"Based on the Supreme Court judgement transferring the (death) case to CBI, all future cases should also go to the CBI," he said, adding, "under a 1988 gazette CBI is empowered to investigate drug cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS). Thus, the investigation carried out till now is illegal."

Why is Maneshinde so keen to get the case transferred to CBI? As the days go by, I am getting a sinking feeling about this.
