I had started these drabbles as a safe haven for mishbir fantasies and i will continue them as long as i can. These drabbles are sneak peaks into mishbir life about the things cvs can’t show us 😈 or won’t show us …or maybe will show us before its late but till then enjoy.
And yeah, reminder, meenu is not evil in this story 😛
#3 Abir angry Rajvansh...oops 😛
2 hours and 33 minutes! That’s how long since they fought and she left. Well, not because of the fight. She had gone to Maheshwaris because it was her badi ma’s birthday and she went ahead to help kuhu with the preparations. But that did not help a certain Mr. Ajeeb Rajvansh to calm his nerves. ‘she did not even call or text’ he was frowning at the thought.
As he descended down the stairs, nanu, who was just finishing breakfast and parul maasi who was around the dining area, saw his state. Knowing that it was mishti’s absence around the house that probably made this eldest child of the rajvansh house sulk, they gave each other knowing glances.
He was still lost in the thoughts of mishti and whether to skip his work for the day and go to his wife’s mayka or just wait till evening as they were originally invited for the function, when he bumped into ketki.
“kya bhai, dhyan kaha hai aapka” she was irritated.
“usse kuch mat bolo Ketu, jo kehna hai apni Bhabhi ko kaho. Kem abir?” his mom’s playful voice broke his trance.
This was a new in rajvansh sadan. Meenakshi rajvansh had started to let her guards down and be cheerful! 😎
But still not getting over his frustration at his wife’s absence, he replied, “aur kya, aise thode hi hota hai. Ek baar call toh karna chahiye tha na?” meenu and everyone chuckled at his antics.
Meenu was lately realizing how this girl changed her son for better and how wrong she was about her perception about mishti. This started making her observe her son’s happiness around mishti and how mishti too did everything in her capacity to make his family and him happy. Meenu thanked Ambe ma for blessing her son and daughter in law with the love they deserved. 😳
Meanwhile, realizing what he just did, Abir composed himself. “woh actually she took my car so I was upset” he made an excuse which was clearly not bought by anyone.
But he chose to ignore. Of course that wasn’t the reason he was upset. The real reason was what happened in the morning.
So what happened was, after they woke up in each other’s arms, she reminded him that she would be leaving soon for Maheshwari sadan. And he wanted to spend some more lazy moments with her in the bed.
“abir, 7 baj gaye hai,we need to get up” she reasoned for the nth time.
“yaar itni bhi kya kya jaldi hai? Tumhe kaunsa koi job interview pe jana hai” ouch. As soon those words left his mouth, he realized what blunder he made. But it was too late.
“tum kehna kya chahte ho? Mere pass koi kam nahi hai?” anger was slowly making way on her angelic face now.
‘ye kya kiya abir’ he said in his mind. Of course he didn’t intend to hurt her, he was just trying to spend some more time with his wifey before she went to her parents’ house for the day.
“of course hai, romancing with your husband. Ye hi tumhara sabse important kam hai wifey aur woh tum nahi kar rahi ho” he tried to make way with something but that didn’t help. Damage was done.
She got up from his hold, where she laid on his chest in his secure grip. And he felt a pain in his heart as she moved away. She pulled her night gown and went to bathroom quickly, stamping her feet, making sure her anger was evident. He too got up, put on his t shirt and went to the connected balcony of their bedroom to calm his mind. He was still thinking of a plan to pacify her, when he heard their bedroom door close. 15 minutes, it was barely15 minutes that she took to get ready and leave, ditching all his plans. Even the plan that he was supposed to drop her off at Maheshwari sadan. And now 2hours 47 minutes later, he was still upset and she had still not spoken to him.
