What will Daadi do now?

Because Jey asked me to start a topic,so here I am.

Daadi got a real checkmate today.

-Pranati told her off in the most befitting way possible(indirectly slapped her).

-For the first time,Rey directly raised voice against her(trust me,she's NEVER going to let this go).

-Vardhaan's activities as well as him getting beaten up by Rey was a reality check for her that her family is not that much under her control(refer to "mere ijazat ke bina iss ghar mein hawa bhi ghuss sakti" dialogue). Her ego is terribly bruised.

-Icing on the cake: police and reporters showing up in Khurana Mansion. In short,public humiliation. I'd give kudos to Pranati here. 👍🏼 She really gave itt ka jawaab patthar se for what daadi did to her by calling the 'mahila morcha'. She went hard.

Too much for daadi just in one day,isn't it?

Dadi really didn't expect this even in her worst dreams also..Dadi slapped Vardhan for two reasons...

1. For hiding the truth from her and she is the one who always saved her grandsons from mistakes through her business mind.

1)Arman's accident with navya

2) Gym fire accident involving jugnu in the pre lockdown episodes

Second, her worst fear of losing her control in her mansion. Now it feels like she is losing that grip slowly from her hands..

She again tried to show pranati, her place despite her womanhood stopped her from doing so. She felt bit guilty ( slight 10/100) when pranati told her how much she respected her.

This will be more like whom reyansh going to choose Dadi or pranati... Reyansh is everything for Dadi from the beginning. She didn't let her son also have that place which riyansh has in her life.

I am curious to know where Dadi goes from here, I have no idea but I'm excited.

But a few things stood out:

1. She seemed to have accepted that Vardhan was wrong. She also blamed Prani but she also blamed Vardhan. She never does that, she has always defended one person full on. So that was a surprise.

2. And today there was a more human-woman side to her. She is generally in the full time Matriarch role. When Prani spoke, you could see the woman inside Dadi, beneath the hard Khuranna Matriarch. Like someone suggested, it'll be interesting to watch her backstory.

3. We might see shades but I don't think she'll have a turnaround. Afterall she has a business to run and a lost reputation to rebuild. That will decide what she does with Rey and Prayansh.

The Maan-Navya wedding (if it happens) seems to be a very good public cover up to begin repairing their image.

As far as Rey goes, she might make Jugs the pawn. She can control both Rey & Prani with her. But it is going to be a huge turning point when she comes to the complete realisation that Rey is completely out of her hands.

Dadi was very angry when someone stopped her from throwing pranati out but when she gets to know that it was riyansh, she just remained silent

And it happened second time now that reyansh again stopped Dadi from slapping pranati.. I wish someone did this during navya track also.. pranati didn't say this to anyone but Dadi manhandled pranati that time to blackmail her with jugnu.. that was one big reason pranati used Rey's mom secret against reyansh and inturn it did no good to her...

Back to back trauma...

Dadi was wrong, she shouldn't have grabbed Prani by her hair and shoved her.

But, Prani was also wrong, she had no rights to bring up someone & a relationship (Rey-Mum) whom she never knew to push him that way.

What she did was wrong.

Ok baba... I agree.. prani was wrong... I'm just saying why she did that and I'm not justifying her act but justifying the reasons for her action

Dadi will never accept his mistakes.

The way I see it, she will blame others, but she will never say it's the fault of my education!

We're going to see her worse than before, that's for sure.

Natasha, how will Navya and Maan's marriage change the situation? It's not as if the world knows that she is carrying the child of a Khurana?

As for manipulating Jagnu, I have my doubts.

Rey knew he had an affair between Pranati and Dadi, but he doesn't know that Jagnu was in the middle, when he found out, as he couldn't accept his feelings, he let Dadi do it.

Now in this case, I'm not sure Dadi will get away with it if she dares to use Jagnu.

@ Bold, my guess is that they themselves will bring it up and then act as if they're doing the right thing. Like they aren't always bad, that V's case was a rare independent event. You know, just like how real life high profile PR works. That's my guess though.

That's true, but then again it's not really something that's going to make things better.

1: They're going to say she's pregnant so they give her her rights?

2: We're rich so we're marrying our grandson to a poor family?

There is really nothing to help them.

I don't know if you understand what I mean.
