Out of all the superheroes, Batman undoubtedly has some of the most fcked up enemies. Given the heinous crimes they commit, no one would question Batman if he one day killed them to put a permanent end to their acts.

However, Batman has one motto: to never kill.

No matter how messed up someone could be, he believes that given the right kind of support, they could be rehabilitated.

Yes, even the Joker could be helped.

That being said, he didn't always live by this policy. In fact, when he was first created, he didn't even show any remorse when it came to killing the enemies he faced. It's only later that this policy was changed, and then came to be known as part of his DNA.

As for the Badgers, none of you could come up with a winning answer as this question ended up with a four way tie.
