👍🏼 completely agree. there should ne no place for homophobia in a progressive worldI don’t know what CodeM’s story is. But if you are calling a show bad just because it showed a gay couple, sorry the problem is with you and not the show. If showing a gay couple in a show is called promoting same sex relationships, then what about shows showing straight couples? Or are you some how okay with ‘promoting’ heterosexual relationships? People need to come out of narrowed mindsets. No one bats an eye when literally every show is about Herero couples but have problems when one show out of the thousands made show a gay couple.

Yup. The way LGBTQ community is still being marginalized and discriminated, its good that these shows are exploring it and showing it to the audience.

Him killing another guy has got nothing to do with his sexuality. In fact it is the society’s fault that they have cornered the LGBTQ community so much that they are forced to take up such extreme steps because in this society, such “secrets” can ruin lives. Because people like you and me are ready to pass comments on what others do in their private spaces. (Not justifying him killing but him killing someone has got nothing to do with him being gay)
This reminds me of a track in YHC where one guy who is into cross dressing kidnaps a kid because the kid finds out his “secret”. Personally he treated the kid quite well considering the circumstances. But society had pushed him to the edge that he had to do such extreme things. Blame the society at large and the person to some extent. Not the entire community.
