He speaks of big things, bringing big changes but isn't even able to let go off his childhood love even now, because asking her to move on will be painful for him. I would have loved if he even though having feelings for Mino would tell her firmly that they have no future and even helped her move on. That is what a honorable man would have done. He speaks of changes when he doesn't want to bring even a slight change in his life which would give him discomfort

As a gentleman, he should have make Mini realize that they don't have any future other than the friendship they cherish since childhood. He should have help her to move on in life without giving any false hopes. It's okay to sympathize with her but going overboard in guilt is too much. Responsibilities... he has given an another meaning to it through his acts.

I couldn't connect to his feelings and patriotism anymore. I don't know why but I couldn't connect to his character as I used to in the beginning.

Agreeing here. Will plan something major, as he said he will nip it in the bud. Get bondita out of haweli and ani's life as well. You remember he teamed mini to bon erase from ani's life not Animini wedding. Thats is secondary. I wish clacutta and brothel track meet at the end and result something solid unlike previous twist and it taps into an emotional current and engage our affection.
