@Bold That's why I was confused cause I saw some chats with respect to same. So bail rejection does mean that charges against her are severe and can lead a long jail time?

I dont think she will be in there for long..If its purely weed , then I think its either max one year or fine and u get out..not sure though...in this case i think she will be doing few rounds till Bihar elections and then be out fully post that😆

Sorry to butt in but If the NCB statement is true then it does prove that they have proof that Rhea procured and financed drugs for SSR. Probably chats, financial documents or statements from all the accused, otherwise it would have been difficult for them to keep the custody.

Section 27A of the NDPS Act pertains to punishment for harbouring offenders and financing illicit traffic of drugs. The offender may be punishable with rigorous imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than ten years but which may extend to twenty years and shall also be liable to fine which shall not be less than one lakh rupees but which may extend to two lakh rupees.
