I just want to say one thing here , why everything is turned into abir v mishti , and what's up with mishti's character has been put down to glorify abir and she gets no say in decision making

Did people forget in the whole baba track , it was abir who stood in the background and had absolutely no say in any of the decisions regarding his baba's truth, he wasn't even informed about his baba's kartoots till the very end and he wasn't even informed that kunal is not his brother, that he gets to know through meenu in her scheme of plans...wasn't that track made to glorify mishti, make her a protector and bodyguard to abir and while abir had nothing to do in that track except for standing in the background and crying while decisions were taken about him , his baba and he wasn't even being informed ...tab toh aisi batein nahi karta tha koi ke dekho in order to glorify mishti , they reduced abir

Then why such exaggeration now ?

I don't know much about other ML or FL because I haven't spent much time watching tv all the years but what I know is abir is by far the most simple sorted ML I have ever seen , does he really deserve rant on daily basis , do we feel we need to understand him than bash him always?

Same goes for mishti, circumstances make you weak and they make you strong , in some tracks she appeared to be stronger than abir and does what she feels is right, while sometimes she listens to what he has to say and frankly speaking abir did ask what you want to do and she says yes to surrogacy and that's how they will proceed now at least for sometime so when did she not have a say in what she wants to do

I must be looking like FL hater for saying this right now , but I am saying it on the basis of the entire graph of the show...from baba track to the end of period before lockdown , its abir's character which has been neglected sometimes to glorify mishti sometimes to glorify nannu, in the whole post leap thing abir's pov was constantly ignored but no one bothered to care for this

I am sorry for writing all this but sometimes I feel characters like abir and mishti deserve to be understood not bashed and definitely not on daily basis for that matter

Exactly. Many people are saying that kanak was better than mishti. Mishbir have failed as a couple, they don't behave like a couple actually, there's no rootna manana, there's no difference of opinion. If mishti tries to out outside her pov, Abir starts plotting against her to make sure that she agrees with him by hook or crook. Also no sane couple who had love marriage plans for a baby so early within 4 months of their marriage, OK mana some plan but MishBir's case is a bit different. Out of the 4 months 3 and half months mishti was a trauma n the remaining half month they were fighting because of kuhu. They haven't spend a single day post marriage peacefully, heck they didn't even go to honeymoon and consummated after months only for a baby🤪 mishbir are insane.

Bhai kanak was something else. She was not bechari. Der also her saas was dangerous but d way she used to tackle dem. Itni aacha se sabki bajati thi. 👏👏mazza aata tha. plus variation n different side of kanak was shown. Not just crying. She used to do nautanki, comedy every thing

Tbh some ppl called dat show regressive one but dat show was d only show in itv jaha force marriage ke liye police complain dekhia, uma ko toh almost jail hogaya tha sirf uske chota bhai ne bachaya use, uske pehla Even she ran away . Girls mensuration ka bare mein baat kiya, girls education ke baare mein dey discuss, ayurveda dekhia, mobile ambulance dekhia, blind faith in God person .So many topic dey showed. It's just dat dis show don't huv online FD.

Even today ask any neutral fans any day dey will select kanak over mishti .i saw dat day on Twitter lot of ppl we're saying dis.

If you r talking abt my post. I would say even I didn't like how dey pushed abir in d background n even pissed of with dat.

I am saying if dey r trying to show some important issues through abir at least Don't counter act with mishti's behavior . Abir is saying something abt feminism, progressive n next moment we see mishti going d regressive way n doing opposite. What kind of msg dey r trying to show through dis???

Now go back to the original promo where Mishti asks Kuhu if she will be their surrogate.

Imagine what sort of backlash Abir would get or will get if he at any point in time supports surrogacy.

Tab koi nahin dekhe ka, dekh Abir is supporting Mishti's decision; tab sab dekhenge; OMG HOW DARE Abir think that Kuhu of all people can be their surrogate.

Abir has become a punching bag and it is constant; when the track started, people wanted Abir to consider adoption, when he considers adoption people say WHY adoption, why now, why not listen to Mishti's reasoning;

Abir is quite a sorted ML; he does not misunderstand Mishti 943958 times; make his own assumptions 583059 times or roam around sulking 844068 times.

At times I wonder if people are so used to seeing EK type MLs that a simple, sorted, straightforward ML is difficult to digest and surely there must be something wrong with him; oh wait manipulations; his way of trying to get his point across is assumed to be manipulations - so that is what is held onto.

I am sorry too if I sound harsh but I am getting rather tired of the incessant Abir bashing.

No I taking about the general atmosphere these days not you in particular

Mishti is not doing something regressive, saying yes to surrogacy is not a regressive thing at first place, yes failing in meenu's trap is a sign of weakness and that she has done in baba track and kuhu haldi track too for that matter which character have you seen that doesn't fall in meenu's trap and then later gets pulled out of it ?

She is weak at the moment, falls easily in meenu's words , that's why abir takes stands on her behalf because he knows she won't be able to answer as efficiently as he does , he did see she was excited for adoption but after meenu's words she changed her whole opinion so obviously he will feel meenu is playing with her mind, I am not abir is completely right but he isn't completely wrong either...the whole track is quite rushed and too many loopholes are placed we need to cut some slack and not be too judgemental...that's all I want to say

I’m watching episode #50 from season one- at 6:00 minutes onwards Abir is expressing regret to Nanu that Mishti knows right from wrong, she knows what to do but her individuality, her POV have been snatched from her. He was talking about Kunal forcing Mishti to do laser eye surgery but look what’s happened to Mishti now. Abir’s words are precursor to what’s happening everyday now with Mishti.

Saying surrogacy it's definitely not regressive but going ahead with kuhu as being surrogate is bad because first of all dat girl didn't become mother before n asking her for her first born is totally wrong.

If u r asking y am I calling her regressive here is d points

1.In front of her meenu is talking abt abir's second marriage . She stood der n listen to everything she said not a single word for it or protesting against it. For God sake, he is her husband how dare someone talk abt him getting married second time when she is der

2. In front of her ,her MIL was talking rubbish abt her , Shaming her n abusing her n she was silent👏. Listen to all dat accusations just because she can't conceive n dan she begun to say sorry to meenu

3.Mental harassment which meenu did n what did she do, she is justifying her👏. Instead of going to police n complaining she is doing maa maa jaap 🥳

4.Just because she can't conceive she left abir n went. Is she staying in 21st century??? Der is something called medical treatment. She would huv thought abt it but what did she do

I hated her in haldi track .Der she was bashed like anything .Even RS know abt fans uproar abt it. When he came to raj interview He was asked abt it why mishti gave in meenu's black mail ??

Totally agree with you on this! If abir supports surrogacy then ppl will bash him for ruining mishti and kuhu's life and if he doesn't stop then oh well he isn't listening to mishti , when ppl wanted him to go for adoption he went then also bashing continues 😆

Manipulations nahi sia , blackmail kaho , he blackmails and threatens mishti in order to make her do what he feels is right ...we want him to sort out issues for mishti and when he corrects her in case she goes wrong , he becomes the ultimate villan too , mujhe samajh nahi aata, abir is story ka villan hai ki hero ...
