Good news for Qubool Hai fans. The show is coming with its 2.0 version and what's more exciting is that the main leads of the original show- Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover will be seen in the latest version too

In case you're a Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti fan, then this news will make you scream out of joy- your favourite jodi of Asad and Zoya will be back onscreen. Zee TV's popular show Qubool Hai starring Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover is all set for its digital sequel on Zee 5.

The show which got telecasted in 2012 and went off air in 2016 after a successful run of 4 years, will once again hit screen with the show main leads. But with a new and refreshing storyline under the same production (Four Lions).

A source informs SpotboyE.com, "Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover will soon start shooting for Qubool Hai digital sequel. This time the long running show will have 10-12 episodes and they will start shooting for it next month.".

During the lockdown, the show was re-telecasted on the channel and the OTT received a good response. And it seems this has convinced the channel to recreate the iconic show retaining the original leads. Few months back, their another show Jamai Raja starring Nia Sharma, Ravi Dubey and Achint Kaur got released on ZEE 5 with a fresh story titled Jamai Raja 2.O.

Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover enjoy immense fan following and their chemistry as Zoya and Asad is loved by fans even today. Sometime back there were reports that the show will come back with a sequel, however, show's producer Gul Khan refuted the report and called it a mere rumour. However, SpotboyE.com has it that the famous jodi will be brought back but on different lines.

On the work front, Surbhi, who is gearing up for her film release Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai, last worked on TV as Bela in Naagin 4. Whereas Karan Singh Grover, who quit his last show Kasautii Zindagii Kay where he essayed the character of Mr.Bajaj, made a comeback with wife Bipasha Basu after 5 years in web series Dangerous.

Seemly very dicey considering KSG isn't gonna start shooting in this pandemic
