This Ganesh Chaturthi, immunity boosting and healthy variants of modak, have been quite in trend. With the current situation, everyone is focusing on edibles that will enhance their immunity and health. Hence, modaks have also become a part of the trend. Following the trend and also keeping the immunity boosting aspect in mind, Kumkum Bhagya actress Mugdha Chaphekar, is indulging in sugar free and healthy modaks this year.

“Every year I celebrate Ganpati with my family and make varieties of modaks, however, this year, since my area falls under the containment zone, I won't be able to go home and celebrate the occasion with my family, but I am still very excited for the festival. This year I will be making a very nutritious modak. I am sharing with you, my secret recipe for making these healthy and sugar-free, dry-fruit modaks” says Mugdha. The recipe of modak, that the actress makes, is filled with a lot of benefits, it's not just tasty but extremely healthy as well . “My variant has figs and dates in it. I soak them in warm water for an hour to soften them, so that it can be turned into a paste easily. Apart from this, I mix a lot of other dry fruits too, like almonds, cashew nuts, pistachios, and walnuts. I also add grated coconut and roasted khus-khus. Then I grind the dry ingredient and the softened figs and dates separately”. shares Mugdha.

She further adds, “After that, I take a pan, to that, I add one tablespoon of ghee. and then add the fig, dates, paste and sauté for a minute. After that, I add the nuts, some cardamom, khus-khus and coconut and sauté it till it forms into a dough-like texture. Then I, switch off the flame and let it cool down, but not completely cool. Then shape them into modaks while they’re warm, you can even use the modak making a mold for this and that's it, they are ready. Sugar free and healthy dry fruit modaks rich in several vitamins and minerals. Hope you enjoy them and have a great Ganesh Utsav."

yeah...i noticed it too...but i think maybe she was worried as ranbir told her that prachi has ended their friendship...n Ranbir was sad because of that...

i have no hopes from pallavi now...cvs have made her RR shipper forcefully...is looks the old pallavi who understood her son has now vanished...

Well they can't have everything smooth sailing. But honestly I'd rather Pallavi goes on and off for plot's sake rather than Vikram or Dida. And they should really start giving Dida more importance and screen space, Pallavi used to listen to Dida and the best thing about Kohli is dida-pallavi's SaaS bahu bonding.

Although now I really hope they don't ruin pallavi's character anymore and atleast make her trust and love prachi even if she is a rhea-ranbir shipper.
