I think what is happening to mishti n the way she has reacted is like a domino effect.

She has been through so much shit... that it has broken her

She had not recovered from the ptsd and this bachha expectation was thrust upon her.

Those things and even worse used to happen in the 1800s and 1900s in Bengal, 8 year old girls were married to much older men (called Gauri Daan) but to show them as a romantic couple and fans shipping them is too much!
That PH has a tendency to show children married to adults, in earlier show a 12 year old boy married a 20 year old girl, that show had to shut down after huge protests and revamped to showing the boy as an adult after 8 years leap

I thought in their latest show they will show romance after the little girl grew up
