@b I think the same and anyways, he can't decide that for her or anyone because basically interest to such things start when we grasp knowledge on diff subject and start to take interest in some.

I think in that era barrister was the best qualification a person could have... Besides that Bondita is quite apt for it for now as she speaks her mind. And also he wants her to become lawyer because he wants her to know that the evil practice or child marriage is wrong and she should make change by doing something for the women of society. Also he promised her gaun vala people that Bondita will question them about the rights and wrongs- when they were going for sati bon.

I think, anyways... But yes he doesn't have right to choose for her but he can suggest her and that would only happen when they both will talk without the external disturbances ( MiNoy, master, and others in house). Jo ki hone nahi vala hai😒
