The difference being that Preeta was in a commitment to Prithvi while she trusted him. Jab ke Karan was already technically married to Preeta and also saw the video where Mahira pushed Preeta with his own eyes.

Preeta ko apne saarein rishto ke prati committed and well Karan ko harr rishte mei bewafa present karna hi iss trust comparison ka point hai.

He was already married to Preeta and on top of that, Mahira's fiancé. Karan would never admit it because of his ego but that is so messed up . That's Preeta's problem; she lets herself be a soft target. Despite knowing she's not wrong for say, Mahesh's accident or Sherlyn marrying Rishabh, she doesn't try to defend herself, she just stays quiet or starts crying

Monisha didn't deserve what she got. Yes, at that time, framing Karan and making everyone believe he tried to molest her was wrong but later on, the way her & Ritvik got trapped in Prithvi's game because of his own mistakes and lies was unfair. Later in jail, she tried to reveal the truth about Prithvi being the mastermind but Preeta . Sometimes, I remember that and think 'actually, Karan's anger in that case is justified' because even knowing and seeing with his own eyes how bad of a person Prithvi was, Preeta never believed it. Yes, that's actually Sarla's fault because her daughter's upbringing made her this way but Preeta should of at least thought 'Maybe I should believe my best friend and find out the real truth about Prithvi'. She called Karan her best friend but in some way, she didn't really fulfil the friendship which is what Rishabh pointed out the day she married Karan the first time round. When Preeta saved Prithvi in jail, she can't have expected the Luthra's to forgive her and say 'it's not your fault Preeta, you're our daughter, don't worry about it', they had every right to be angry with her at that specific time. It's just getting out of hand now tho

Preeta was never smart. Except maybe some rare times. I mean, she bailed that Prithvi and expected everything to be okay?

New bts, Karan still crying 😳 are they competing with each other, Preeta is miles ahead.

I mean if it was that explicit that mahira attempted to push preeta then the judge saw it too,he could have sentenced mahira right? And even sarla barely knows prithvi and so does preeta but she actually knows Karan. And let's say she isn't taking Karan seriously because he gets possessive and she finds him immature. On her wedding day, Rishab came on his own to tell her. She could have trusted Rishab atleast right? He is mature and has no motive. So yeah, preeta was super dumb in the whole prithvi thing but atleast Karan knew mahira already so I guess he isn't that dumb and he already lost his faith in preeta so. Also if you remember,he did try postpone the wedding and it looked like he was softening towards preeta after mahira incident. But then that was Holi and there was Mahesh's accident again and here again it makes sense for him to believe mahira. Because let's say he actually believed mahira tried pushing preeta,there she has a motive. Preeta comes in between her and Karan. And Karan doesn't see any motive for mahira to push Mahesh while for preeta,there claims to be eye evidence and his trust in her was threading. Not strong so he gave into his emotions and anger and just agreed to the wedding.

Again from the Maker's perspective drama sure but I am only arguing from the story because if we start using makers and story to defend some plots and characters then there won't be a real comparison.

The next day in court Shrishti presented the phone to judge and said she saved her sister after being pushed in front of the truck. That was the only portion of the scene shown. As an audience we know what she is capable of but as Luthra house member that's his childhood friend who has been nice to him and he chooses to give her a benefit of doubt because he could be wrong and he couldn't think of Mahira as someone trying to kill someone, which is fair right? He believes that she exaggerated the case so he marries her but he doesn't think she'd kill someone. And sherlyn is involved here,so he probably thought Sherlyn brainwashed Mahira because she is totally capable of that

karan treated preeta like his property. like he can do anything to her because he owns her or she is his slave.

i dont feel any empathy or sympathy for karan. he deserves it for what he did.

also whatever he is planning isnt the way to redeem himslef. he is going to humiliate her further only to make some stupid plan successful. is it the way to redeem urself 😳
