I have actually watched Mere Dad Ki Maruti, loved the film, yet didn't know who Rhea was until a few months back, when I saw her pics with the one who unclipped her wings. 😆
It's good to see new Rhea fans emerge out of the woodwork though. Shakti ka santulan anivarya hai, after all.
I was afraid regionalism will be added to the list of feminism & political ideology in this case. I'm a Bihari, but don't think my stand would've been any different if I wasn't. I WAS put off when I'd heard MeToo on him. And earlier when I used to stalk him on Twitter, it wasn't because he was a Bihari. There has been so much muck thrown on Bihar and Biharis by this episode. Even by folks supporting SSR's family & even in this forum, things like he was a Bihari, which is supposed to be uncool, YET he was given love, and so on.
Having said that I'm aware of bad things spoken of Bengalis, specifically Bangalans too. I don't support any of it, and personally I don't think I've name called even Rhea, I mean, even in my mind. Not the same case with the ch$$u Bhatt though. 😃
All I can say is I've full respect for all humans, and always try my best to not be prejudiced. Unless that human is called Mahesh Bhatt or (trigger alert for nepo lovers) Karan Johar.
Had no intention of being a party pooper to the Rhea fans, but couldn't hold myself from chiming in. ❤️
