But what got me confused was that Hritika's character was an independent one and Ishaani and Ranveer's character arc was intertwined. It's not that at that point they were focused on some common agenda and they had to ruin Hritika to glorify either of the leads.

To me, it looked more like they needed another strong villain and since Chirag was dead, they just butchered Hritika.

Anyway, how does it matter? 🤔 Either way she was butchered without any reason.

The only good outcome of it was probably Smriti getting to play more shades. 😊

Even Shikhar made zero sense, and that dumb track, gosh!! Like, what even? Infact I did appreciate Ranveer in those tracks where he used to confront this Ishaani for her nonsense. Later they even ruined Ranveer ofc, lmao.

On a side note, that samundar kinara suicide, 🤣🤣pehle toh I don't get this dumb theory of people meeting lovers or 3rd angles at such spots, matlab kuch sharam karo!! Like all are in busy in their life and why will strangers interfere, coast guards or locals might save you and get back to their life. Yaha toh total dumbness, only best part was her brother had given Ishaani a perfect reality check speech, what we all viewers wanted, her noble idiocy or what not. Even Gauri disowning her, or going against her crap, made total sense. Specially her KC part, wow!

Talking on Smriti, had you seen other projects? There was an episodic she got, then and it was good, you could check that.

True. I gotta admit, the actor who played Chirag was really good because from what I have seen, he did look innocent but carried the playboy attitude effortlessly and wasn't OTT in any of the scene - which is quite rare. 👍🏼

The separation made zero sense to me. Like why the hell did she assume that Ranveer had killed Chirag, even if it was by accident? 😵 Couldn't she just ask? Dumb woman!

I find him to be Ekta's quintessential hero who's entry scene included him being a playboy and sleeping around with random girls and then he fell for this one girl, real hard for God knows what reason.

Again, the only good thing about it was Arjun Bijlani. He is a charmer.

But as usual, the makers made him do some extreme stuff that diluted the reason behind his action. Like when he physically abused Ishaani post KC, one episode, but it was really extreme. 👎🏼

Then again in that Shikhar track, forcing Ishaani to kiss him or trying to prove her a thief - another two extreme steps. 👎🏼

Otherwise, apart from KC, he actually gave Ishaani the benefit of the doubt every time and held onto his belief that may be, there was some reason that she behaved like this. 👍🏼

Which is a reason these days my annoyance regarding Aradhya and Ansh has reached to a new height. 😡 😡 😡

I agree. Although I majorly skipped some episodes, I got that Dev abandoned her which was totally justified. My only regret is that they degraded his character out of nowhere. In that sense I loved it that Sharman and Prateek were spared.

As far as KC is concerned, I actually wanted to hug Falguni because she was damn right about the fact that Ishaani destroyed her marriage with her own hands and there was no going back.

The reason I loved her was this only! She called out Ishaani every time she did these blunders. And Gauri portrayed the anger, sadness and helplessness amazingly. 👏 👏 👏

I haven't. I did check WiKi but she appeared in quite some shows so couldn't watch it. I am surely gonna check the episodic later. 😊

Agree on Chiraag! Yes, Ishaani's assumptions, gosh! Total mess, like she assumed Ranveer murdered her dad, and he had said, that certain things just cos he didn't tell, doesn't mean he murdered, that was worst!! Cos he was his inspiration and he looked upto him.
