Yeah this formula has been tried before and it would be a great twist.

In chal sheh aur maat, the male lead gets his dead wife's lookalike to pose as his wife in front of his family. It was later revealed to the audience that she is his wife and thinking he is the villain is back for revenge. Same thing there the saasu ma was the villain.

Also another one Bepanah pyaar ki. All these have similar track.

I also don't think she is the mastermind because she is all new to this.

It won't happen here as Riansh has more popularity. The makers will receive backlash if they are not paired in the end.
