When Preeta told him that her family reputation is involved, he was clear when he said that is precisely why he married her in front of her society and not his. Followed by spinning his car around her while Preeta pleaded and begged for forgiveness for something that she didn't even do. Only so that he would give her a corner in his house so that her mother does not suffer. Karan then left her in the middle of the road in he middle of the night in full wedding regalia and did the two things he does best, be drunk and cry.

Considering Karan believed Preeta was doing all this for money although he initially said no to the idea of remarriage, but Sherlyn sent the alimony notice in Preeta's name and Karan's 'belief' that Preeta was after his money solidified. And he agreed to marry Mahira.

Karan had already believed that Preeta was somewhat responsible for Mahesh's accident in the first place, when Mahira who happens to be Karan's childhood friend accuse Preeta of the same it would be odd if he didn't. 😆

It isn't a lot of episodes. The most important ones in my view would be from episode 500-510 and then 529-533, just for your information 529 because that entire episode is a dream and would never happen. And then 570-580. You will understand exactly who is doing what and why!

Espeically DO NOT miss episode 579. Considering you prefer Karan and Preeta it is my request that you ought to watch it . That is some top class acting from Dheeraj Dhoopar and Shraddha Arya.

Preeta was thanks to her mother also willing to marry Prithvi, though she was already married.

Preeta was forced because Sarla was going nuts, deep down she didn’t want it because she values her relationship with Karan no matter what it was at that point, she ruins it for herself by telling Karan the opposite just to make him feel bad as he should.

There were his interview just when the hatred track started. Right after Rishabh's wedding. He mentioned that it was hard for him to persuade Karan to hate Preeta. He forced himself as an actor. Something like that he said😆

Actually, I still think that Karan believing Sherlyn was the most illogical and unconvincing thing in the show. I accept it just like necessity for the script. I take it as a fact that was needed for the plot. I don't think into it. Karan hates Preeta because he have to. Bas.😆

but preeta did not remove her manglsutr even after dressing up as a bride. also she convinced prithvi to back out from the wedding.

on the other hand..... karan just got married to mahira.

thats why he is unfaithful.

Nope no divorce happened. So karan and luthra's were doing this marriage illegally and even refuse to acknowledge that it is illegal for him to marry mahira because they don't even consider preeta and his marriage a marriage. In all this, rakhi and dadi have shocked me the most with not acknowledging this mahira-karan marriage to be illegal. I offically dislike all the luthra elders and karan too.

I don't agree that he is unfaithful because he got married to Mahira. He thinks that Preeta is a murderer (almost) and doesn't accept her as a wife. So he thinks that he has no any obligations to Preeta. And he fulfills his promise to Mahira.

But I do agree that he is unfaithful because he was two timing his would be wife Mahira. He tried to get close to Preeta while being engaged to Mahira. He is after Preeta even at his own wedding. So yes, at the end of the day he is unfaithful anyway.

The difference is Preeta wasn't already married nor committed nor bethrothed nor had she or him ever talked about love when Preeta was getting married to Prithvi. In fact Preeta has been shown to be 100% committed to both her engagement to Prithvi and her marriage to Karan.

Karan on the other hand being the deceiver who matried Preeta first without her consent, proposed to her albeit it was fake, and then decided to get married to Mahira without concluding his first marriage.

That is called being unfaithful. To both Mahira and Preeta because Mahira on actual multiple occassions had asked Karan about his status quo with his estranged wife.
