I know, right. I never expected that she would turn out to be a good actress. And it's so nice seeing someone who has a totally different look and is pretty but without looking like a desperately sexy 18 year old.

she is a nepo kid too. A talented, cool, likable one but nepotism benefits her too.

Yes and no. Don’t think Neena ever achieved commercial success as such herself, for Masaba to benefit much. Growing up with the kind of stigma of a child outside wedlock (how common was this?) and racism of having a child that is half black. Not sure how ‘exposed’ she was to that access or how willing the industry would be to accept her as a true nepo product. Growing up, I remember Neena Gupta as more of a TV actress than anything else. Not too long ago, Neena Gupta was actually asking for work via Instagram.

Didn't Neena ask some big actor to talk to Masaba so that she gets discouraged and doesn't try to be an actor? Well, looks like it's time to show middle finger to momma.

Oh, btw, Neena Gupta sucked as an actor.
