if People don't see why showing Anurag in positive light was problematic, the justification, generalization and glorification of domestic violence in this thread is evidence enough of why writers should be careful when they make influencial characters do these things.

Anurag is NOT Shivi's brother, He has NO relationship with Sharmas, when Shivi asked him to let go, He should have understood his boundaries. Shivi's mother intervened and threatened that she is calling cops on him but he didn't back off.

The difference between Bajaj and Anurag is that people think Bajaj has ulterior motives to drag Prerna, People don't think he is "Right" but Anurag is called Ideal brother for doing this with someone he hasn't been in cordial relationship for past 8 years

Imagine sister's ex husband/fling dragging you to a room. Girls, DO NOT let people invade your privacy like this, NONE has the right to slap you or hurt you, not your brother, not your husband, Not Your parents and especially not your sister's ex boyfriend 👎🏼

Mr Bajaj has no right to do it either, I don't think he has a right to slap Kuki or manhandle Prerna, it doesn't make him an Ideal partner and an ideal father 🙏🙏

PS : Please don't quote me to tell me that Indian culture allows domestic violence, it is a crime 🙏

Yes, he had some logic to his anger, he was acting well too. That phase, Anurag and Parth were so much in sync. Anyway, you folks won’t understand. So, please don’t quote me. We watch the same show but have different liking. I like the actor Parth but Anurag is unbearable.

I don't believe it whatever showed in the episode was even minutely related to domestic violence,male chauvinism,mysogony.i guesss I understood the meaning of these words differently.No culture whether indian or not promote domestic violence.But preventing younger ones from spoiling their life is the duty/ right of every elder.As I said earlier agar bachcha aag m kudne ki koshish kre to use samjahana,dantana in most extreme cases slap karna jaruri ho jata hai.Everything cannot be taken at face value only.

Na I don't think he was faking. The butter was just giving his boss an excuse for being late. Moreover Bajaj had already kept tabs on pre through the phone call. He knew she had gone to orphanage, was going to market after that and then came to office. Ho gaya. Every minute accounted for.
