Yes he has done a good mix and at the end of the day it's unfair to put to many expectations on an actor or actresses when we dont exactly know their mindset and thought processs. he comes across sensible and I dont think he is doing a bad job in MTA anyways. I wouldn't take all these online reviews seriously because at the end of the day all have their favourites. They are some who are enjoying a show like Jalan too . 🤪
I personally find his scenes best in MTA. He is believable and not a larger than life character..
I definitely don't find Judaai and MTA identical, yes some things are similar but the characters are different. Shafaq and Jhanvi can not be compared and I believes that changes the dynamics of the story completely.
Pakistani critics pretend to have admirable principles and beliefs when its completely the opposite in actual. Some of them are so vile they’d simply sit on their long, upholstered thrones as if they are some sort of demigods and insult every guy on a particular drama just for being on there. Such a immature hypocritical thing since we hear the very same detractors further vaunt how they actually tend to enjoy this xyz drama that’d show a classic toxic male character, while denouncing others for the same toxicity. For example, Fuchsia girls love Jalan whereas MTA is retrograde/too much for them lol. Funny, ain't it? You condemn a wife selling her husband for some megabucks while you are ok with Minal’s character drooling over her brother-in-law which is as bad as incest? I’m all for criticism. But this is straight up implicit bias.
Tbh, I find the entire review aggregation (be it movie or drama) biased and broken. Unfortunately, no one’s ready to fix it.

Critics are critics and I dont expect anything from them..its all about who they like and who they dont like..Amna from Something Haute is good friends with Feroz Khan hence justifies Hamza from Ishqika while Hasan on the same show likes Minal offscreen so over praises her work in Jalan. Seriously its super annoying. If you look at characters without the actors/ actress favourism then it's not hard to know what's right and what's wrong..
I personally dont watch any of their online shows, it's a huge turn off and they do go overboard with their comments. I prefer discussion forums where one can post their views and read other peoples opinions. The debate can be healthy and entertaining

The problem is the public is no less either.
For one, ever since Ertugrul came, most people just comment and bash dramas, all sorts of dramas; typical or not. "Ertugrul best hai", "Ertugrul dekhne k baad ye sab kachra lagta hai", all stuff like this. Like seriously? It's always talking about supporting your own content but in reality no one even supports their own. Korea and Turkey took their industry ahead by supporting their content and helping export it by giving them ratings, views, amazing reviews, and more; but then there's us. We love to bash our own content instead. Yes, I agree that there's a lot of the same content like the love triangles and etc, but we have good shows too. Even this is something different from the other shows on TV right now. Maybe if we support our own content our industry can go miles. I understand that Ertugrul is probably a good show but that doesn't mean you degrade your own content.
And then second. A lot of public is guilty of this hypocritical bashing. Jalan got bashed like crazy but then 3M+ views on each episode and I'm sure episode 1 is going to hit 10 million views soon too. I mean why bash if you're gonna watch it secretly. People run hate against shows like Jalan, Mohabbat Alvida, etc, but then these shows are in the top trending on YT Pakistan. It's just weird. 😕
