Conspiracy theory time:

Pre adopts Samidha which she can at this point because the world thinks she's married to RB. Later it's revealed that Samidha is Sneha. Also, that PreRish aren't actually married. Now Anurag wants his daughter back so he files for custody. His case his strong because he has a wife and a daughter also. In order to keep Sneha with her, Prerna asks RB to marry her.
