Oh yeah I have major PTSD with open water now. I can totally swim in a pool but the ocean? HELL NO. I can't even put my feet in the water 😳. I get scared that somehow I'll lose my balance and will get sucked back into the water. I tried exposure therapy (did it myself) and I made it till the water was knee length and I started shaking/ran back out. I've made my peace and told myself that we are land creatures and aren't even supposed to be in the sea to begin with 😆
