We just questioned where was the bonus mentioned. We didn't realize its a surprise element. I didn't know there were 6 bonuses in one round and thought we lost one grace bonus point. I have no problem with others getting a point. I don't think there is need to get agitated. I didn't know we couldn't question you and your authority.

Feel free to question away. But don't make such arguments as IST people were asleep at that time as your only reason for questioning everything. Based on what you've said, it seems you were more worried that you wouldn't get any bonus points.

I had asked each of the Prefects what time suits them best. Based on that I came up with the theory that posting every round around or between 10 AM to 12 PM EST or 7:30 to 9:30 PM IST is best. Note that all rounds will be posted at this time. So if there are any time-based bonus points in future rounds it will be based on this timing. And no I will not be repeating any of the bonus points right away. They might show up again a few rounds later, but next round none of these 6 bonus points will be repeated.

@ Red: Okay then. Going forward I won't announce all the categories, but just the number of categories. So like 6 for this round. I'll even try to group them so that I can say 3 are time-based, 2 are answer-based, 1 is group-based. Or something like that.

But all the teams have to agree that they won't take it in a bad way if they didn't know the categories in advance. The whole point of surprise bonus points is to make teams feel good about themselves, but also to inspire some competition for other bonus points.

same am from west and mostly all r from IST except for few ..

Our weekdays we have work too in the morning especially me so am the last one in the need of any kind of drama

She was transparent with that information, which is enough to start preparation and adapt accordingly.

Think about this way -

The only time Minionite could release information on the bonus points for Round 1 was when Round 1 was announced. From what Ravenclaw has said so far - you would not have qualified for the time bonus because you didn't have people ready. So that information would have been useless anyway.

If you say that two people could have volunteered to answer the question ASAP that defeats the entire argument being made.

Its ok we lost the time bonus.. We should have anticipated such bonus .. we chose members on their trivia knowledge n Harry potter knowledge and didnt give much importance of what time they are active.

Am gonna end this discussion here.

But truly Dumbledore was the most biased anyone has ever gotten. He was all about Harry this, Harry that. I love the books for all their messages and their themes, but there was so much wrong with them.

Like my biggest qualm has always been: why were the Slytherins just shown as all-out evil? Since when is being ambitious and a go-getter a sign of evil?

In many ways Dumbledore does represent real life though. I mean we've probably all had a teacher who was biased towards one student or a boss who was biased towards one employee.

Absolutely agree about this i also had this perception about slytherin being the evil house only. Now i have read too much about them to know its not like that. Slytherin are more ambitious Just like *cough* Priyanka Chopra *cough*😆.

Be a good head then Dumbledore Minionite.😆 Remember Slytherin were doing wrong in the books you have got a second chance to correct it here in the game.

I don't recall anyone in Slytherin being shown in good light though? JK Rowling made sure that Slytherin always appeared like bullies.

That why I've renamed Slytherins to Sexy Snakes. Got to get some positivity in there.

FYI minionite .. this a big game with many houses and participants . Please be mentally prepared for conflicts and issues . It is bound to happen if things are not crystal clear to everyone .

Exactly. I think it was Dumbledore who said it naa - maybe we sort them too early. It's true. At 11 you are just beginning to develop your personality. How can you be "sorted" at such a young age?

^ McGonagall suited more for the role of a fair teacher. Both Snape and Dumbledore were biased in their own ways.
