I beg to differ.

ITV shows are majorly watched by women that too who are not so much intune with our liberalized mind sets. TRPs bring in money and drama of this sort begets TRPs. So it's definitely not that the TRP audience will really connect to the progressive shows.

Therefore, it's certainly not that the producers have misunderstood their audience. They know it very well and hence bring the drama which caters to their liking.

About KHKT, well it's very clear. Sandiip needed the numbers which the first phase of KHKT didn't provide. Hence he opted for the stereotypical route. But he also wanted to cater to the progressed audience. So he tried to do a mix and match of both type of content resulting in a messy storyline. It was all half baked drama which obviously didn't do well enough.

Having said that, KHKT mightn't have had the best story in the later stage but it certainly was very good when compared to other shows. All in all, the treatment served to our show was out and out unwarranted and disgusting.

@BOLD Trp audience is growing up. They are differentiating between class and class. You have seen that when not a single rubbish track of khkt worked when they showed Sona crying and getting mentally tortured by sippies and infact Rohit. Trp increased when Sona left Sippy Mansion. Trp decreased again when super virus track arrived. I am not saying they are smart, but atleast growing up. Now thats completely your point of view and i wont comment anything about it. But agree with what you said about the treatment thing that was totally disgusting and unwarranted !

Disagree. The wedding track who was so OTT got the show the highest ratings.

I believe it got highest ratings because of Ronakshi's marriage and nothing else. Mahesh was introduced two weeks ago before marriage then why trp didnt increased at that time ?

Everyone knows that there is no point of mocking the channel. But when it's so harmless and is not affecting the mental peace and real life of anyone, what really is the problem in it is not my cup of tea.

Arrey low ratings matlab lower than what the channel wanted. They tried alol the tricks under the book but the show just didn’t improve. That’s what I meant. The ratings the show got were average considering the slot and lower than what the channel expected.

Lol are they different tracks? Mahesh kidnapped Sona during her wedding only na? Raima say in mandap and them magically Sona ended up there. The two tracks were the same as far as I remember.

Even I don't understand the strategy behind giving YRHPK the 9 pm slot! When it was already doing well in it's former slot, why would you want to bring it out of it's comfort zone?! Additionally, Anupama does have the added advantage of being regressive which is the evergreen liking of the TRP audience!

No show has proved it's mettle in the 9 pm slot and hence, KHKT's off air can never make sense to me! And I am still salty about it, regardless of whether people find me to be silly😆

The strategy was that they thought YRHPK has a stable TRP audience who’d watch the show at any slot. So they shifted it to 9 pm thinking that those who watched it at 10 pm would now do it an hour earlier. Anupamaa is a new show and there is not guarantee whether it will win the audience or not. So they gave it a less competitive 10 pm slot. But it turns out that YRHPK was getting its ratings mainly because the 10 pm slot was less competitive and people watched StarPlus at that time.

So no, I dont think I need reality check rather we all as audience need some awareness on what it means to love your family members without losing one's own self-respect.

Coming to KHKT I never believed it was the best but I still beleive it was one of the better ones for the most part. And it was unfair how it was axed so suddenly.

Maybe that's why fans are still salty about it. It's easy to find fault with one of the show one is watching and to call the fans to be blind ones.

Imagine if the same thing happens to your favourite one?? Seeing your liking for the show I wish it faces better fate than KHKT. Hope the chanel don't change the time slot to 9pm.

As for comparison of ratings most of the shows are improving except for the KB(D) and YRHPK is no able to beat them now when they are down.

The 2+ratings of YHPRK happend many months after launch of it and even then it didn't face any pressure due to the time slot and was able to progress with a medicore storyline unlike KHKT which had a good plot but never was allowed to progress infact got ruined totally due to the channel interference for better TRP.

What do I call people who justify Suman going to meet tantrik and tantrik seeing visuals of Sona being shown on the show? I’ll stop with that discussion right there. 😆

18th to 22nd november. On 20th Ronakshi got married. The trp increased on the wedding date. 18 & 19 were just revealation of Mahesh's kidnapping and arrest. You believe it or not but audience were interested in watching the wedding and not Mahesh. There was not even a single rise in trp when Mahesh kidnapped Sona before the marriage week. How will i believe that trp increased because of Mahesh ! Huh ! 🤣

Indian women don’t have that much confidence and independence as the TV leads like Sona or Ishita are projected to have. Many women are like Anupamaa in India especially when they aren’t that educated and come from orthodox families. Indian women are taught to ‘adjust’ whatever their husbands their family throws at them. That what the Indian mentality. Suffer in silence. If people think such women don’t exist, I don’t want to change their mind. About this said show, I don’t watch it and I don’t know how they are executing this. But IMO such women also need to be represented on TV so that they get inspired to voice their concerns.
