Yup SSP is really good at establishing good and adorable bond slowly like people start yearning for them. I agree they must have great ideas regarding how to shape up Rudhita's relationship but are worried about the reactions it may get. Already some people without watching it sprout nonsense about it so maybe they are being very careful.
But till now they have handled it very well. I mean in general a guy in 20s marrying a kid is not acceptable at all but when one watches the series you can't help but ship them( not romantic in any way😆)
They are avoiding showing Ani's pov regarding all this. Its not clear what are his motivations for all the things he is doing for Bondita, we don't know whether he is just doing it for challenge or to prove to his father that he can take this responsibility or he is actually getting attached to Bondita. He is never shown Thinking about her in general. And he seems very conflicted maybe because he is against child marriage and doesn't know what to do about it.
I feel they can show him a bit attached to her and there is nothing wrong in it. It is set in pre independence era. You don't have to love every person romantically. You can generally care for a person whom you like or who is a wonderful person. Bondita is a bright adorable kid, and its impossible not to like her. They can just show him growing to care for her and love her for the person she is platonically from being just a responsibility. As a person who is genuinely important for him and whose happiness genuinely matters for him or a friend who he cares for dearly.
There plays a big role is Casting. SSP is brilliant with casting and I doubt if it was someone else in place of Aurrisht, we would be cringing. But them as husband and wife, doesn't make us feel weird about it, instead we just see cuteness dripping out of their pairing.
Yes, its impossible to not like Bondita and I feel Aniruddh already does like Bondita (not romantically for now) he admires her and her qualities a lot and is getting attached to her and its obvious and something unavoidable. We know that but it isn't official under an uncertain Aniruddh who is in conflict and denial and that gives SSP a benefit of doubt if a controversy arises. About showing a bit more attachment, clearly the PH is so damn scared, so they're being so damn careful about each word the characters utter.
The PH is known for making shows which runs on emotions and pulls our heart strings solely on emotions and nothing else, heck! they did a romantic show where the leads didn't even touch each other for a hundred episode or two and still managed to make it a blockbuster so yes, this runs is SSP and they're brilliant in showing emotional attachments. I so wish to see an unfiltered version of Barrister Babu, one SSP actually idealized. I mean they surely knew they couldn't show what they idealised without alterations but still I would like to watch or at least hear about it from Sumeet sir or Shashi mam.
