On one side it it is Amma (who happily lets her son call her Ammaji) who can sacrifice her own son for gaining name and popularity and on the other side his baba who was asking him to follow his heart. He wants to come to the village forgetting all the insults he faced from his wife.

NK is another friend who is asking the right questions to get a reaction. As we all know he not only wants to see Khushi happy but, his heart wants more and that is, he wants to be a part of that happiness. He just needs to get clarity in what he is seeing. Khuahi won't be happy if she finds out he is sacrificing his life for her. I am sure she will intervene. On the other hand, Lavanya has agreed to marry Arnav because she does not want to say no to the person who gave shelter and looked after her all these years. But, when she finds out, Amma's real intentions, she might rebel and leave.

I'm glad Arnav's Baba is coming. Hopefully, he will finally take a stand for his son because I don't think Arnav will back out from the deal he has made with Ammaji. Is it even right for him to go ahead and marry her when his heart yearns for another...

Loved the chapter. Arnav all confused and feeling trapped. Good advice from his father. Will he realise his feelings in time?

Though Arnav agreed to Ammaji's proposal in the heat of the moment in wanting to bring the change in the people to stop their ill-treatment towards widows, with NK questioning his behavior he is feeling more confused and feels that he got himself trapped. All he wanted to see Khushi happy. Will Khushi be happy knowing he is getting into a marriage in which he might not find love or happiness due to her.

Nice seeing Arnav's father wanted his son's happiness over everything else, unlike Ammaji who sees her own benefits and will never think to sacrifice her own son's happiness if needed. Hope with his Baba by his side Arnav clear all his confusion and follow his heart as his Baba wants him to do.

Thanks for the update. During the function Arnav agreed to his mother’s blackmail of marrying lavanya in lieu of her agreeing for widow remarriage. Now after the function is over when NK questioned him regarding his decision of marrying Lavanya on that day when he’s not in love with lavanya he told him he only agreed keeping kushi in mind he wanted Kushi’s freedom .

After talking to NK Arnav was totally confused with his decision as his thoughts were occupied by kushi and her happiness means more to him. Surprisingly he called his father and narrated to him all the events that took place. His father asked him to listen to his heart ,he seems to be a sane person and is totally opposite to Ammaji no wonder Arnav called him when he was in a dilemma. His father promised him he will come and support his son. Looks like Lavanya is also not happy to marry Arnav.

Will wait to see what happens in the next chapter.
