Wow.. this was an amazing start.. loved to see the bonds amidst the family still intact.. kids n parents were adorable.. wonder whats wrong with maasi... lol prerna's reaction to her colleague drooling on rishabh was very mature but i am waiting for this calm n composed prerna to get jealous of all the female attention rishabh is getting.. great that they r working on the same project so now they will bump into one another despite innumerable reservations on their ends.. very well written yaar. Sunday :
The following Sunday morning, Prerna hands over a spoon of gajar ka halwa to her mom and asks her to taste it .
Veena says it’s very tasty, like always and she is sure Kukki loves it, to which Prerna retorts that Kukki doesn’t like gajar ka halwa , Veena adds “but Sharada ji is diabetic.... “
“ maa, it’s for Mr.Bajaj”, Prerna says turning off the stove, her mom is glad to hear that
By lunch time, Prerna, Veena and Sneha reach Bajaj Mansion .
Rishab walks to the door to receive them, Prerna walks in with Sneha sleeping over her left shoulder, covered with a baby blanket, his gaze locked with Prerna’s, they smile at each other and he says “namaste “ to Veena and welcomes them in .
Once in the living room, he offers to take a sleeping Sneha baby, Prerna gently hands over Sneha to Rishab,, who places the little bundle over his left shoulder and pats and rocks her.
Prerna gives gajar ka halwa to Maasi, she smiles and thanks her, seeing it’s Rishab’s favorite exchanges glances with Veena
The lunch is laid out. Prerna goes to Rishab “Mr.Bajaj, let me hold her , you please go and have lunch“, she extends her arms to take the little one from him.
“ Nahin ..., aap jaayiye, let her be with me,'' he requests her, his pleading eyes, she couldn’t deny, however , she pulls out a bouncer and opens it …
“Please put her in this bouncer ,she will sleep , we can have lunch”, Prerna commands Rishab , who asks if she is sure, Prerna says yes and that she sleeps cozily in the bouncer and not to worry, he gives the baby to her mom, who securely buckles and tucks her with a blanket in place. Rishab confirms once again if she will be fine in that .. Prerna confirms..
Maasi, Rishab, Kukki, Prerna and Veena start having lunch, Maasi gives him a bowl of carrot halwa, a pleasantly surprised Rishab looks at Maasi, who shifts her glance to Prerna , Rishab, slightly raises the bowl and mouths “Thank you”, to Prerna , to which she smiles, Maasi and Veena exchange glances.
When Prerna was about to take the first bite, Sneha shriek cries as if it’s an emergency vehicle’s siren blowing in your street .., even before Prerna could get up, Rishab in two quick strides is already by her side, he unbuckles the bouncer and picks her up in his arms and cuddles her, rocking with “shhhh shhh” he assures Prerna, he would hold her and asks her to continue her lunch .
He gently cuddles and rocks her , while sitting on the rocking chair, in the lavish living room of the Bajaj Mansion .
Kukki demands to be fed by Prerna , which she does. Maasi sends a quick prayer to make this as Rishab’s family and keep them happy and together , Veena too prays and wishes for the same.
On finishing her lunch Prerna goes to Rishab to take Sneha, but he is in no mood to give the baby back to mommy, Prerna persuades him to have lunch, he denies lunch and asks if he can have some gajar ka halwa.
Prerna gets his bowl of halwa, holding Sneha over his arm, he finishes it
“Thank you, it’s very delicious, one of the best I had,” he compliments,
“my pleasure”, she returns with a smile.
“dekhiye Veena ji, maine iske liye itni baar gaajar ka halwaa banayai.. .. par ek baar bhi nahin bola Thank you maasi, it’s very delicious”, maasi pouts while settling down on the couch .
Prerna and Veena chuckle, an embarrassed Rishab smiles ....”maasi aap ka bhi bahut delicious hai “, he fails miserably while trying to cover up..
“Rehne dho beta .. tumse na ho paayega maasi ki taarif karna “ maasi continues her playful banter while Rishab has an awkward smile when his glance meets with that of Prerna’s who chuckles .
An couple of hrs later, Prerna asks Rishab to give Sneha as it might hurt his shoulder , to which Rishab says he is not a kid, Prerna nods, right at that time Sneha wakes up, “I will change her .. “, Prerna takes Sneha from Rishab “aap itne dher thak soyi uncle ke shoulder pe “
“Uncle ! uncle kaise”, jumps in Kukki
Prerna and Rishab are confused at this sudden exclamation from Kukki
Kukki asks Prerna who she is , Rishab and Prena look at her in surprise ..
“mumma na “ , adds Kukki, Prerna nods in agreement “haan”
Pointing to Rishab she asks “and he is my pappa , right” , both say yes
“And you are Sneha’s mom , right! “, she questions Prerna, who nods and says “haan “
“Toh how is papa, Sneha’s uncle , he should be Sneha’s papa na” , her innocent question surprises Rishab and Prerna , their eyes are locked in awkwardness only to look away not wanting to face each other as they are checkmated with the little one’s innocent question.
“You have a valid point Kukki beta”, maasi jumps in to grab this golden opportunity and she continues “If you both are Kukki’s mumma and papa, toh Sneha ka bhi mumma papa hue na “ ,
“yessss”, kukki jumps in excitement and hifives maasi
Prerna and Rishab glance at each other from the corner of their eyes and decide not to argue on this as any further discussions on this is a lost battle for them now.
Around 4 PM Maasi and Veena go to make some tea and snacks ,
Prerna, after changing Sneha, takes her to the living room to see Rishab wincing, while flexing his stiff left shoulder , where Sneha was lying for the last 2-3 hrs since lunch.
Prerna walks to him to ask if he is ok, “little stiff muscle, I guess” , he says.
Prerna places Sneha in the bouncer and secures her. She turns to him to ask about the medicine, balm .. he says he doesn’t need that as he is fine. Without arguing she goes to maasi to ask for spray or balm as Mr.Bajaj has shoulder pain .
Maasi comes to him with concern and asks Prerna to get the balm from the first aid box from the cabinet .. Prerna gets the balm and gives it to maasi , implying her to rub balm on his shoulder .
“Main jaanti hoon tumne nurse ki course nahin ki, but I know , you are very good at it , hain na Rishab beta”, maasi tease winks Rishab, before heading back into the kitchen an abashed Prerna stands there with the balm in her hand.
Awkwardness sneaks between them, she hands over the balm to him, he uncaps it , takes little balm with his right hand fingers and tries to reach over his left shoulder, but winces in pain …
She swiftly takes the balm from his hand, stands behind him and asks him to move his shirt aside, he slightly moves his white Polo shirt aside, exposing his left shoulder to her, she starts massaging the balm, gently, over his shoulder, and the nape of his neck, with her long slender fingers
He has flashes of moments when she tended to him earlier when they were married . Prerna thoroughly massages his shoulder which work like magic for him
“any better ?”, she asks
“a lot , indeed you are very good with this, thank you “, he expresses his genuine gratitude
“that too without any nursing degree” , she teases him
He chuckles
“and you are right, you are not a kid anymore , stiff muscle means sign of aging “, she playfully teases him yet again,
“I am not that aged “ , he retorts involuntarily, but instantly chides himself for going in defense to her playful tease
“But the muscle says a different tale”, she says before leaving to keep the balm away, the glint in her eyes and the flirty tease in her voice amuses him .
“Prerna .. “ , he lets out gently
She turns , “Ji… “
“Kuch nahin …. “, he nods in negative … his inner voice chides him for not complimenting her as how beautiful she looks in that lemon yellow lucknowi chikankaari kurti with white dupatta..
Maasi and Veena notice that little playful banter between them.
After having evening tea and snacks, Bajaj gives a small teddy and couple of dresses for Sneha .
Prerna thanks him and says he needn’t have to ..
“I wasn’t too sure .. so Kukki helped me …”, he reveals hesitantly , so that Prerna doesn’t think he got those …
“Haan main jaanti hoon … aap ke liye kapde choose karna kitna mushkil hai “ , she teases him, as both recollect the day Kukki helped him to pick a dress when he was confused .
Rishab goes to drop Prerna, Veena and Sneha back home after an early dinner .
At night,
Prerna while rocking Sneha to sleep recollects the events of the day, the fun light banter between him and maasi when he praises her gajar ka halwa, her heart melts when she recollects Rishab with Sneha.
On the other side, Rishab is amused with Prerna’s tease about the massage and his old age , his fingers involuntarily cruise through his hair, a warm smile spreads when he has flashes of Kukki saying he is Sneha’s father.
Prerna recollects the light fun she shared with him while massaging , Rishab has flashes of her laughter, probably the first time he sees her laughing merrily
Prerna is disheartened to think about Anurag, Sneha's dad, but a restrained smile and warmth fills her when Kukki said Rishab is Sneha’s dad .
Rishab realizes that this Prerna is more free without any baggage pulling her down, she is fun and light heartened, she is being playful at times and he is proud that she is doing well in her life , but at the back of his mind, he wonders, if all this is the real Prerna or a facade to hide her broken self, what might have happened that she has to leave her love, Sneha’s father .
thinking about each other they gradually drift into sleep ....

Wednesday:
3 days later, Prerna while at work, witnesses a commotion around her , Shweta has shocked expressions, most of her teammates were having unbelievable and shocked expressions with lot of hush hush around,
Prerna casually asks what’s going on ..
“woh hamare client BI ke Mr.Rishab Bajaj ….” , on hearing his name she quickly drops everything and grabs Shweta’s phone , to her utter bewilderment, Mr.Bajaj is accused of sexual harassment by someone , Prerna drops herself in a chair, and grabs her phone from under the layout papers and watches the clip where a young girl is accusing Mr.Bajaj of sexual harassment.
Prerna dials Maasi who is worried and tense with a flood of calls from the social circuits and media. Prerna asks maasi to relax and everything will be ok and asks if Kukki is still in school, maasi says yes .
“She shouldn’t know this “, Prerna exclaims and tells Maasi that she is picking Kukki from school and taking her to her apartment and requests maasi to come there as well . She updates Veena about everything and requests her not to turn on any news as long as Kukki is there .
On the way to school she calls Mr.Mehra who updates her that this girl Tina Deshmukh was a secretary of Mr.Bajaj’s business rival , Mr.Rajiv Saxena , their rivalry is known to everyone in the business circuits…
Mehra further updates her on Tina and her Boss Mr.Saxena, she picks up Kukki and requests the school to grant her leave of absence for the rest of the week.
By the time she comes home with Kukki, maasi and Veena are there. Veena consoles Maasi that everything will be fine .
On seeing Kukki and Prerna they both get a hold of themselves, Kukki after freshening up goes inside to play with Sneha who is with Rani, a middle aged woman, who is the newly appointed nanny for Sneha .
Maasi calls Rishab to come to Prerna’s home, for which he denies saying that he doesn’t want them to be under the radar of the media and requests her not to go there as long as this issue is not sorted and asks about Sneha, to which Maasi says Sneha will stay with Prerna as she should be kept away from this until it’s sorted.
Maasi shares the same with them, to which Veena says that in this hour of need, Rishab shouldn’t be thinking on these lines , but Maasi says Rishab has a point . Veena, along with their domestic help Rani, stay in the apartment with kids, while Prerna and Maasi head to Bajaj Mansion.
Rishab and Mr.Mehra are home by the time Prerna and Maasi reach. Prerna quickly makes her way to the kitchen, she comes with 2 cups of strong coffee for Rishab and Mr.Mehra.
Rubbing his temple and cruising his long fingers through his locks, he paces in the living room. , he knows it’s Saxena’s dirty trick and vows to get back to him.
On seeing Prerna wanting to talk to Rishab, Mr.Mehra steps aside saying he will handle the media houses and not to make it a prime time debate on news channels .
“Mr.Bajaj “, Prerna puts her hand on his shoulder , he turns to face her,
Words fail to help him, he nods in negative, his eyes pleading with her not to misunderstand him and blinks back his exasperation .
“I trust you Mr.Bajaj, aap please kuch math kahiye please...." , she says looking into his deep brown eyes , her trust is what he yearned for always and today without any explanation and in this dire situation she is the one to trust him.
He recollects that one point in the past, where he pleaded and requested her to trust him, she blatantly refused to trust him , he went to jail to earn her trust and today, without him saying a word, she said she trusts him ..
Rishab was about to explain further... "those who understand you, don't need explanations... , and those who don't understand you, don't care for explanations . and I know you very well Mr,Bajaj hence I don't need any explanations.", she says gazing into his deep brown eyes.
“ I am sure that she is accusing you of this, everything will be fine, main hoon aapke saath, we will sort this out”, she assures him by holding his hand in hers .
Rishab gazes at her , says he knows who is behind this, and he will expose them and asks her not to stress over this as he can handle it
“thank you “, he says, she frowns in confusion… “Kukki ke liye” , he adds
“Please .. you don’t worry about Kukki, I took leave for her from school, she will not know anything related to this “, she assures him .
“How is Sneha “, he asks her to divert himself and her form this convo. “She is fine , just excited for anything and everything, such high energy levels and eager to start crawling “ she says while he chuckles..
Rishab steps close to her, in his usual husky voice , "by the way it's love..."

right then, Mr.Mehra comes back to update about handling media and tells them the issue has to be dealt with carefully as it gets greater momentum as the public is pro woman in such cases.
Rishab is exasperated …”Saxena should have dealt with me man-to-man, I would have shown him what it’s to be in a dark pit “ furiously throws his fist in the air . Prerna is taken aback, he promptly controls himself and assures her everything will be fine .
He orders Mr.Mehra to drop Prerna home. Prerna, who was looking for an opportunity to talk to Mr.Mehra, promptly seized it .
Next day Mr.Mehra calls Prerna to inform the whereabouts of Ms.Tina Deshmukh, Prerna seeks his help in whatever they are to do now.
Rishab, meanwhile meets his legal team and resolves to teach Mr.Saxena a lesson he would never forget in his life .
The following Saturday around 11 A.M,, a panic stricken Veena calls Maasi saying she is unable to reach out to Prerna and Sneha is sick and she seems to have a heavy breathing problem with high temperature and she is turning pale. Maasi asks her to calm down, she immediately calls and sends the doctor and ambulance to Prerna’s house.
“Rishab woh Sneha ki tabiyat…woh Prerna bhi unreachable hai “, maasi informs Rishab who was in a crucial meeting with his team, he tries to reach Prerna , he calls Mr.Kashyap at his work, who says Prerna took off today . He asks Kashyap to call her friend colleague ... not sure of her name.. but please check with her.. Sandeep tells Rishab that he would check with Shweta right away .
Panic strikes him, he wonders where she is, what is she upto that she is not reachable , and not at work, he is furious with her being unreachable especially when she is a mom , he immediately dials Mr.Mehra ..
After a few tries he gets to know that Prerna is at a resort , 2 kms off Noida expressway and her phone is in silence ..
Rishab yells at Mehra as what is Prerna doing there and what is he doing there, Mehra says ma’am came here on some important work , least bothered about the work, Rishab asks him to send him the location ASAP
Meanwhile, Prerna successfully wraps up her work at the resort . Rishab reaches there in his chopper, after arranging all the top pediatricians for Sneha, at Jaslok Hospitals.
Mr.Mehra leads Rishab to Prerna , “aap yahaan “, Prerna is shocked to see Rishab there, holding her hand in his tight grip, he leads her to the chopper , Mr.Mehra follows ..
” kya hua Mr.Bajaj “, she asks in panic “aap chaliye mere saath… we need to go “ he holds her by her arms
“Please tell me kya hua …sab theek hai na… Mr.Bajaj… plz .. maa ko.. Sneha ..sneha toh teek hai na ,...” , without saying a word .. he leads her into the chopper .
Once in the chopper, he offers her water, which she refuses to have before he says what happened .. “please don’t panic, woh Sneha...” , he says holding her firmly, with tears rolling down her cheeks, she loses her consciousness
“Prerna ,.. Prerna.. “, holding her in his arms, he pats her cheeks trying to wake her up .. he sprinkles water on her face , she slowly gets back her senses..
“Sneha .. Mr.Bajaj Sneha … kya hua usse“, with tear stained eyes, her hands tightly clinging to his jacket
“Prerna .. kuch nahi hua.. you please don’t worry , she is better and stable now, you please don’t worry, she was having difficulty breathing with high temperature so... ”, she leans on him and cries into his chest …
gently stroking her hair “Shhh Prerna.. Sneha will be fine.. look at me, you trust me ,,, ", Prerna nods amidst tears, "she will be fine ” , her tears strain his ruffled suit
Within a few minutes, they are at hospital, Prerna hugs her mom and cries… “Shhh Priyu.. Ab sneha teek hai beta ” , Veena caresses Prerna’s hair, maasi puts her hand over her head and says “sneha beti bilkul teek hai Prerna, tum ro math “ , she pulls Prerna into a hug “jiske paas tum jaisi bahaadoor maa ho, usse kuch nahin ho sakta”, maasi pats Prerna’s cheek .
Mr.Bajaj talks to a team of doctors and tells them he can get in specialists from anywhere in the world, but make sure Sneha is fine . Prerna looks at him through tear filled eyes. The doctors assure him that everything is fine and the baby needs to be under observation tonight .
Veena offers to stay with Priyu tonight , “aap kaise Veena ji”, maasi intervenes,
“If you don’t mind kya main ruk sakta hoon ? Please”, his gentle and honest request, Veena couldn’t deny.
Maasi says she will stay with Veena tonight in their apartment along with Kukki while Rishab would take care of everything here .
Veena is convinced and she tells Prerna to take care and call her if there is anything, joining her hands, she mouths thanks to Rishab and appreciates him for everything. With joined hands , he nods in negative implying not to .
Maasi and Veena go to the apartment, by now Rani has fed Kukki and put her to bed. Veena cries thinking about Sneha and Priyu, and her Priyu will not survive without her daughter as she got a hold of her life after many gruesome trials.
Maasi consoles Veena and says everything will be fine and Sneha will be home tomorrow, she tells her to calm down as she has to welcome her granddaughter tomorrow.

Woah.....?what a drama-packed update....you have introduced two entirely new twists in the story..... haven't read anything like this before..... wonderful 👏👏.....first that harassment accusation on Rishabh....it sure brought out Prerna's protective side for the Bajajs out.... I'm sure she's been in the resort for something related to that only🤔.....and then Sneha's illness brought out Rishabh's protective side....the situation is like ek duje ke vaaste😁....very romantic if we keep the seriousness aside.....loved the way he took care of Sneha's treatment and then flew to get Prerna for Sneha....both the families are being a pillar of strength for each other in their times of need....also the Sunday lunch and dinner at Bajaj Mansion and the interactions between PreRish are beautiful....a heart warming family union.....loved that....hope to see some action also in the next update if possible 😁.... after all Rishabh has a lesson to teach to that Saxena,right?A really really wonderful update Munni, thanks for this weekend treat💞

Kuki's question served such a good purpose. It's going to be so in the future.
Prerna doesn't realize how much she has come to care for him. Her reaction and thoughtful actions that followed the sexual harassment charges on RB was something a wife and a mother would do. This twist was totally unexpected.
Hope Sneha recovers soon. I was reminded of those Sneha-RB scenes from s1.
