How much of Khushi's words will show its effect and results is for us to speculate about...Arnav's Ego would be the biggest hindrance along with his past notions..

Khushi has not event the faintest hint that it is her own sister who is cheated and forced into this sex trafficking and flesh trade...I feel really bad about how she will take it if and when Sheetal's condition and story be unmasked.

Khushi’s words were pondering over his mind along with karan words bothering him to the core. He applied the sudden brake on a deserted road of landscape extension. After finishing off some official work of signing of papers, when he came out of the building, for a moment his eyes searched for Khushi. He drove the vehicle out to join the roads, his restless mind still bothering him; his eyes were searching for her company, if she would be waiting for any taxi. He did not find her in nearby lanes.”Don’t bother” and then he accelerated his vehicle pace.

He got down from the vehicle and rested his head on the body of car, he knew if karan wanted he would have asked his help, but it was implicit, he was too harsh on Karan views and his motive.

“I have been trying hard, not successful yet. No ARnie I won’t leave this town before finding her.”Injured”. “I was hit”. Arnav crushed his hand on the car body. “I am proud of your friend”. Words were resonating too much.

Karan was hopping on district police station lodging a complaint after travelling from kumpta village. Series of questions were coming in his way from local police person.He was not someone who belongs to the region. He grew up in London, Business assignments bought him to Mumbai, Yet his roots lied deep in this part of region, but stil lhe never know how the things actually worked with local police.

“What does she look like?, What is her name?”, Tumhari lagti kya hai phir?”

“Look Sir,I was on my way when I happen to see this business going on. Iam sure girls were getting transported. “

“How sure you can be? Aise to koi desh seva nahi karta”

“girls have been taken away”

“We need proof? Do you have any idea how many prostitution business is been run alone in any city?”

“Do you even realize what iam saying.. They are not prostitutes. I have seen a small girl being taken inside”Karan frustrated. His pitch high and then he calmed down.

“Sir,.If its money, iam ready to shell out anything. But I want to track that immediately.

“Rishwat dena chhatha ho? “

“F**k. I want to talk directly to commissioner. .When he will be arriving?”

“Don’t show your money power here”

“F**K” . He opened his mobile phone, when he saw Arnav’s miscall. He came out from the station and dialled him back.

Khushi rushed to Bank ignoring all the random thoughts which were bothering her. She dropped a message to Aman, that she will call him later, as she was in middle of some bank work. She was sitting in the waiting area of the couch, when she happen to see an Indian lady in her middle age, with average look, elegant yet simple. “Indian?” Khushi asked with her excitement..She being talkative and friendly was first to initiate the conversion, but the lady just managed to nod and returned a polite smile, clearly signifying she is not interested in any conversion and bothered why does Indians behave differently coming to outside land. But khushi being herself, she managed to get friendly with her. A quick 5 min of interaction and khushi was quick to blurt out with her office name , etc.

“My husband works in same company. Akash verma”

“Akash sir? ..I work in his team..”

5 mins of normal friendly chat dragged for 20mins more , till Khushi token was announced and she rushed inside to clear some formalities. When she returned Mrs Verma was not there. Khushi waited for 5mins, but she was no were to be seen. khushi thought she might have left from bank. The next moment her thinking pondered on Akash and his affair news with anjali, it spilled down her spine. She was in disbelief state that, what was making Akash to cheat on his wife. Mrs verma is so good and friendly.

“what makes him fall for Anjali ? Good looks of Anjali ? Or is it , they get bored of their marritial life? “Does bond becomes so weak between two married couple? love fades away.?..how easily? What right does Akash has to cheat on her wife?...With all these new thoughts she came outside the building and happen to see Arnav car passing out..

“Did Arnav know about Anjali?He might be..and I am sure he might be equally supportive…he himself belong to industry where all these are common..affairs, live in relations …aur inki society..i don’t think so he even cares about it..These all might be common for him..

“karan.all good? what is the status? “ ARnav finally made a call.

“Leave buddy, anyway you do not understand my position. I badly wish, someday you desperately want to search someone, and cry a foul like me”

“Shutup. Arnav singh raijayad kisi ke peeche nahi bhagta..Only emotional can get bluffed..Now brief me the update. Let me see what I can do..”

“I can’t believe this “Are you serious?”

”Common, before I change my mind and you know me better. Trusting just YOU and ..just for your sake”

Karan explained inbrief what has happened till the mid afternoon. How the kumpta village inspector has been fixed up , and now he has reached district police station.

“You said you saw the vehicle number?”“

Arnav asked. Hearing Karan back, It’s going towards Mangalore . In that case?” He paused

“You mean to say, they would reach the port?,,why did not I think it could be next hub. Considering the equal and shortest distance” Karan replied.

“I am not sure on this, I mean it depends on how far is their business, but either they might stop or they could travel next..If its local, it would be anywhere in Local red light area, else ports.

“Dubai”It makes sense right. It could be something big when the local policemen did not get involved. Without the help of them how could they transfer them so easily?.

“it could be one scenario, let’s assume, they are not ready with any fake passport,what could be next, Mumbai or Goa should be their stop. That’s the two ports they could arrive at”

“whaaat?All the hell to Mumbai?”

“Just my guess..”

“Arnie,I am just ready to shell money, but meeting with commissioner is getting so hurdle. “

“Leave it me. I will call you back”

It took only few phone calls for Arnav to get connected to Mangalore police commissioner.

“I understand Mr Raijyada, but without the photo and identity, it’s difficult to track the person”

“We have vehicle number; one of close friend has witnessed this trafficking”

Series of discussion continued with possible outcome and the joint Conference call with Bombay Commissioner, Mr Rathod.

“MrRathod, you know media is surrounded with me all time, upon that social media rage is so strong with these cases. Already the local police have not been supportive. My single tweet and it would create a storm out there like wildfire. It can even turn to a trending topic, Any statement would bring bad name for department” The power and influence paid off and soon the case was in list of fast track search list.

5:00pm

“Aman,almost reached. So how was your journey”. Khushi dialled Aman on her way back to her flat.

“Bit tiring it was.. soch raha hu, leave le lo aaj.”

“hmm.You should then. Accha.., convey my thanks to your friend. Amma is so happy,”

“bol dungi meri ma, .and soon , I will get introduce to You..”

“oh, is this the same special friend of yours?”

“hmm. Milne ke baad hosh udd jayenge”

“Now that, my curiosity is being increased-You and your special friend..ab to jald milna hai”

“Accha ,I will keep now..I have to finish some work,”

“hmm ok”. “Leechi leech..Too attached…Khsuhi repented why she did hide about her journey to Beijing.”Khushi to ek jhoot chupane ke liye, ab kitne jhoot bolegi.. shit..

She was busy replying to mails when she gets a call from India- Unknown number”

“hello yes?”

“yes Iam Khushi. I have lodged a missing complaint on Shyam and Sheetal. “

“SHyam Anna. We have searchedf or them, did not get any clue about where they have shifted”

“Where would they? The complaint is not yet closed. What are you people taking money for”

“I had told you the khushi company address, Did you go and find her”

“We have Anna, but looks like she is not in India. Her India number is off right now”

“Whaat? Phir complaint kaise raise ki usnai?. Police record mai hoga contact number. Find out. wo inspector rajesh, apna admi hai.. ussai help lelo.”

There was a massive hunt across the city of Mangalore and with department of goa police, Mumbai police, naval regional officers were alerted for any doubted consignment. This was considered one high profile search case. Sheetal sketch was done; Karan was partly successful in describing her.

It was not a tough job to find out the vehicle. Some local goons were arrested. A strong intervention and they disclosed that few of them were sold for local Mangalore group. Bigger consignment they have dropped to port.

Naval officers barged at the port, the fishermen’s were questioned and it was confirmed, an illegal ship carrying few women was on the way to Mumbai.

Mumbai naval groundwas on alert.

“How many times I should tell you, I have given the complaint, but who are you?”

“Police department madam”

“Sir,I am sheetal sister, any clue? Did you find them”

“They are safe. Will update you soon”

“Safe? Did you find them? Where are they now?How are they? “

“For that you need to come to station Madam”

“Sir,I am right now in Shanghai. I will reach India in 3 days. Can you take my mother number, ..”

“We will call you soon.” Khushi could then hear suddenly beap sound. She tried to call back the number, but it went unanswered. “They are safe?”, Khushi was delighted hearing that, but one side of her brain was alarmed. Trust the caller or not? But they mentioned about the case etc..She in no time dialled payal and updated her about the call. Payal assured she would confirm the validity of the number and get the update calling back the station.

“But what’s wrong in being in positive khushi. what if they are really safe and you going meet them soon”

“hmm..I hope so, ” she prayed and thanked god to solve all the problems and she should soon meet her akka.

6pm

“Karan,book your flight to Mumbai” Arnav dialled after reaching back home.

“Yes it is confirmed,Its Mumbai.”

“Love you buddy”

“Shut the f**k. You know I curved my nerves out.”

“Whatever,but I am still in surprise how you heartless agreed on ..I doubt if it was for my sake”

Arnav remained silent, khushi’s words echoing within him.

“Book the flights soon back to Mumbai.”

He went back in his flat when he saw Manohar packing his bags, that left him surprised

“What th!. Dad, where are you leaving?”

“Did I forget to tell you, I am leaving to Beijing tonight?”

“Really? You are informing me now?. I seriously need to consult doctor if they have secretly removed some of your wires. You are acting weird in last 12 hours“

“Nothing much of work,just some signature , with our new Beijing project. Don’t worry”

“Dad,I would have left for India today then. Look at you, you have been sick just yesterday and you want to travel today? No, You are just cancelling”

“It can’t be Arnav.” Manohar was arranging his bag, and his face showing signs of tiredness.

“Then send someone else, you look so tired.”

“You prefer to go?”

“ NO!. Not again. Have to rush to India tomorrow”

“See, You don’t care about me?”

“Common dad, I have told you,Don’t pull me into your business again and again. I have given enough of my time now”

“Fine I will request Akash” Manohar voice low.. he observed Arnav, hisface did not show any reaction that he would change his decision.

“Ishould update to HR , bookings has to be changed.”

He dialled his secretary “Can you inform Khushi, that Iwould not be joining to Beijing”

Arnav was pouring a small drink for himself, when he turned to his father in amusement.

“Khsuhi?”

“yes,what happened. She was joining with me.” As manohar said , he observed that fuel change inside him, his eyes scattered across the direction, a change which he often sees when her name comes out.He took the opportunity and put much of fuel to increase that ignition.

“Akash,could join Khushi. oh I need to inform akash soon. He needs to leave today night in that case”

“Akash, as* h*ole. Khushi ? Beijing ? 2 nights?

“I amnot sure. Akash had some commitments..Letme check” Manohar was sure, Arnav will come out considering his dynamics with Akash and khushi. Nerves were playing havoc, Manohar could sense.

“Dad,If you insist I would go Beijing.But this is last time anything iam bothering in Business?

“No you want to travel India right. You have ongoing shooting”

“I will manage. Just 2 days. I will postpone my shooting”

“Fine.Great infact.” Manohar smiled to himself

“Why are you smiling?”

“Am..I? “Oh you see, I will peacefully take rest..” Manohar replied.”Ok,tight schedule on your way now. Party event in another half an hour”

“Yeah I remember, You have all plans to crush me..I will leave off from the venue.”

“As you wish”. Manohar again smiled, when he saw Arnav going inside the room,he dialed to his secretary to take care of all the changes at earliest.

Khushi closed her laptop off and was giving the final check on her bag, when her phone rang again from HR.

“Khushi, Your flight details have been upgraded. Shifted to business class”

“Whaaat?”Khsuhi eyes wide open. Flutter of smile, ..and she kept back the phone.”Travelling with manohar Sir.. I am so lucky,I could learn so much from him.

She checked the time. Already 6:30. Need to rush to the event.

“What to wear..don't have proper dress..” “grhhhhh”
