That's where the issue is, she's grown up hearing beauty is everything for a woman, to lure a husband capable of giving her everything. That's why she deems even her education isn't anything in front of her beauty and at that time I guess, such marriages were common so maybe she is scared of Ani-Boni being a thing, even before Boni grows up, which is quite disgusting but she called Boni a khilona with which Ani is going to play so... Maybe that era was like that, girls were fed things like that maybe, they were groomed in that way. And she always believed her beauty will keep Ani bounded to her😕 when she came to know bondu is a kid, she was still about sundarta only, but now maybe she feels ani is drifting apart from her despite her being beautiful, maybe she senses that Bondita would be the kind of person he would prefer, so she is trying to gain his attention by asking these things🤔
