By the that Suryaputra Karna actually seemed more of a show on Duryodhan than on Karna to me
Shaleen had much bigger role than Gautam. Karna's character was pretty unidimensional-he was the holier than thou, forever wronged best warrior throughout.
Duryodhan had a much more diverse character, his attitude, character sketch, behaviour all changed with the character he is addressing to
He was cruel for Pandavas+Draupadi, irritated and annoyed by Shakuni, caring for Lakshmana, pampering and supportive for Vrishsena, anger for Krishna, stubbornness to Kuru elders and Bhanumati, respect for Balram and obsession to Karna
From a character arc perspective this is the best role one could wish for. A very multidimensional character
From Duryodhan per say, I guess that was the best portrayal (except his obsession for Karna)
