Up till high school, students get to decide how much they want to challenge themselves by choosing to take advanced or honors courses or not...but in college, things actually get more serious and advanced as you are inching towards a goal of obtaining a degree in a certain topic...in high school there is no specific goal besides graduating lol

We also studied to get into grammar schools for secondary school where we go directly after primary school
