She did this comment in answer to people attacking her. Not everyone is impermeable to hate.

I did not take her post seriously.. I took it as further proof of her not being too bright in the thinking department

In her earnest to negate hate, she basically invited more hate by bringing in karma.. As I said, not the smartest cookie

Sonam is truly privileged for being born a celebrity in India. If she were in the US, she would have had to face a much hostile media who would question her on why she is taking space undeservedly that could have gone to an outsider. She would have faced an angry twitter that would have brought all the receipts from when she mocked actors in art films to the shameful exploitation that her in-laws and husband continue to do to the helpless factory workers. She should really thank her luck stars and hope that same Karma doesn't bite her in the ass.

To be the devil's advocate, I think she's genuinely hurt about receiving death threats since she hasn't exactly played dirty games to reach the top herself.

But again, tone-deaf and entitled af. Or just dumb. Don't know which is worse.

The best thing to do would have been to lie low, like that cunning Alia Bhatt/Karan Johar are doing. But she ruined it for herself. Now she's trending on Twitter. AGAIN. She has re-directed all the mob towards her. How can anyone be so dumb?????????
